Fluffy was one of the Human's first kitties--she was mostly an outdoor girl, as the Human's beloved mother did not entirely subscribe to the notion of indoor kitties. But as time wore on, Fluffy wormed her way into the Mom's heart and she began to tolerate some family room incursions, especially on chilly nights. Fluffy was a good girl, the Human says, and unfortunately this is just about the only picture she has of her, circa the early 1960s.
Aw, she's so pretty! And very clever that she was able to insert herself into the house.
ReplyDeleteBack when there was film in cameras, there weren't nearly as many kitty photos. What was wrong with people back then? We're glad that your human has a photo to remember Fluffy by. She sounds like a very sweet kitty.

Mum grew up with farm cats. They were only allowed on the back porch to eat.
ReplyDeleteWhen our mom was young, she and her family had lots of cats. The cats would go outside all the time. Things were different back then.

ReplyDeleteOur dad's (meowmeowmans) family cared for some outside cats way back when. They could not have cats when Dad was little, as he was severely allergic. Can you imagine?! Luckily, he is not AS allergic now. :)
