Perhaps you could help by suggesting to your human that she just opens, say, 20 cans of cat good and leaves them for you to snack on as and when you wish. Then she can go back to bed and stay there until she's better, without having to worry about your needs for a while. I think that would show her how concerned you are.
We could send Princeton and Preslee to make a little fun and excitement. We are pretty sure your sick Mom would NOT care for their kind of excitement, though.
