She Had Water Without Me

Perhaps the outer edge of Hurricane Dolores reached California's desperately parched Central Valley. Of course, no one bothered to consider that *I* might have enjoyed seeing this rain, too. They got wet in a thunderstorm, and all I got was this stupid video.

  3. There is some irony about it raining into a swimming pool. But at least it rained.

  5. We got that rain too! And thunder! And my human had to drive in it because she really, really wanted to go to a writers marketing panel. She was not happy but she didn't regret it.

  7. ...maybe it's clever to dive in completely in that pool when it rains? that could be a good way to be covered from that rain...

  10. You wouldn't want to see it Spitty. I sit out in it sometimes, then when I come back indoors I get attacked with a towel.

  15. I bet they want a whole lot more of that wet stuff falling out of the sky! Wes had a weird week. It rained off and on the whole time we was in Alberta and they want some sun...and heat. Back here in Midway, not a drop of rain. And LOTS of heat.

  18. We had some rain like that yesterday too Spitty! We needed it too, but not as much as you or where the fires are.

Sorry you did not get to see it.

  19. Hmm, I couldn't watch the video, blocked plug-in...whatever that means, but don't despair, Spitty...you really don't like rain...trust me.

  20. We think staying inside sounds better than getting trapped in the rain, Spitty!

  21. Whoa! Did your human really say “Oh $h:!” at the beginning of the video? HAH! TW always talks through all my videos so I have to edit the sound out. Great that CA finally got some rain although I’m surprised they didn’t declare a state of emergency like last year.

  22. We have had a lot of rain here in Merryland, but we sure haven't seen pools of it like THAT!

  23. Everything sure did look parched there, just like we are here too. No hurricane remnants for us though. All the rain will be gone by the time the clouds reach up here. :(
