She Had Water Without Me
Perhaps the outer edge of Hurricane Dolores reached California's desperately parched Central Valley. Of course, no one bothered to consider that *I* might have enjoyed seeing this rain, too. They got wet in a thunderstorm, and all I got was this stupid video.
We got that rain too! And thunder! And my human had to drive in it because she really, really wanted to go to a writers marketing panel. She was not happy but she didn't regret it.
I bet they want a whole lot more of that wet stuff falling out of the sky! Wes had a weird week. It rained off and on the whole time we was in Alberta and they want some sun...and heat. Back here in Midway, not a drop of rain. And LOTS of heat. Kisses Nellie
Whoa! Did your human really say “Oh $h:!” at the beginning of the video? HAH! TW always talks through all my videos so I have to edit the sound out. Great that CA finally got some rain although I’m surprised they didn’t declare a state of emergency like last year.
Everything sure did look parched there, just like we are here too. No hurricane remnants for us though. All the rain will be gone by the time the clouds reach up here. :(
Bet they loved getting that rain. Sorry you missed out, Spitty. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Spitty, it's over rated. Water, that is...
ReplyDeleteTrust us, you got the better end of the deal!
ReplyDeleteThere is some irony about it raining into a swimming pool. But at least it rained.
ReplyDeletePoor baby! Get over it. Just kidding.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
Gettin wet are overrated.

ReplyDeleteEh Spitty... be careful that this doesn't backfire on you.
ReplyDelete...maybe it's clever to dive in completely in that pool when it rains? that could be a good way to be covered from that rain...

Spitty, H2o is totally a no no for us kitties!!! Don't sweat it buddy!
ReplyDeleteI agree, no thanks on the water stuff!
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't want to see it Spitty. I sit out in it sometimes, then when I come back indoors I get attacked with a towel.
ReplyDeleteSpitty, if you want to know what you missed, go stand in the shower :/
ReplyDeleteWe don't think you will like it!

We know how much you need rain, we will try and send some of our horrible thunder your way.
ReplyDeleteuh, Spiity, it's WATER. You know, WET. Don't give your peoples ideas about you'd like to jump in the stuff!
ReplyDeletePoor Spitty, I am sure you can figure out a suitable punishment.

They got a lot! Ours was soft but steady all day and today? This morn TW had to crank the ac on again by 930!

ReplyDeleteWe had some rain like that yesterday too Spitty! We needed it too, but not as much as you or where the fires are.
ReplyDeleteSorry you did not get to see it.
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
Hmm, I couldn't watch the video, blocked plug-in...whatever that means, but don't despair, Spitty...you really don't like rain...trust me.
ReplyDeleteI would've loved playing in that!
ReplyDeleteHey, there was water on the water.
ReplyDeleteWe think staying inside sounds better than getting trapped in the rain, Spitty!

ReplyDeleteWe have had a lot of rain here in Merryland, but we sure haven't seen pools of it like THAT!
ReplyDeleteEverything sure did look parched there, just like we are here too. No hurricane remnants for us though. All the rain will be gone by the time the clouds reach up here. :(
ReplyDeleteYou could come here, Spitty--we're in our monsoon season! (And Caroline, if you're so inclined.)
