[Ed. says:] Spitty is a bad nurse. Since I am home he wants to play all the time and when I don't want to, he bites me and/or sinks a claw or three into my leg.
This picture is from Wednesday, when we had sun. Now it is cold and stormy again. Not my fault. I'm a better nurse when it's warm.
Maybe you are trying to take her temperature when you bite her. You are a cute nurse. I hope your human feels better soon.

Our experience tells us that just sleeping with the human when they're sick is plenty of nursing.

ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't have to put up with it at all, Spitty. You know it, I know it. If the staff fall ill and can't perform their duties, the agency should send a replacement.
ReplyDeleteAnd like her hide: the Human is complaining about the quality of the service? Ha! What a joke. Doesn't she understand that you've been putting up with her and her inept performance for eleventy years or more? It seems that you're being far too subtle. Sit on top of her while she's lazing around feeling poorly and spell it out: how unsatisfactory her support services are; how miserable they make YOU feel (and yes, it IS all about you, not her). She may just get it now that she reckons she's on the receiving end herself. Don't get off her until she convinces you that she understands. Okay?

Spitty, I think getting your human up to play is good medicine! I tried that with my human when she was sick, and she didn't get the memo either.
