Also near the top of our Thanksgiving gratitude list is the rainstorm Wednesday that put the fire out, washed the filthy air and dropped the AQI from 271 last Friday to this single digit today (the little chart below shows midnight through 4:00 p.m. Wednesday):

    Hi Mr Spitty! My Mom is home (finally). I am most happy about that. We were sorry to read about Caroline. You and she were great furrends. I Mom was in San Francisco for 4 hours on Tuesday. It was furry smoky! It reminded her of the fires around Midway.
    I am still giving my Mom the cold shoulder for abandoning me while she went away...I am thinking another couple if days and she will be totally wrapped around my claws!

    We are so happy you finally got rain and it put out fires! Up here in Oregon we forget to be thankful for the rain because we see more of it than what we would like, but rain brings new life and is something to be celebrated! Of course we want some sun puddles in between too.
