Mine, All Mine

Last week, when I was so very ill, the Human would give me whatever I wanted, and what I wanted was a bed pillow. Of course she was more than happy to provide it. She even changed the pillowcase for me.

Now, apparently, she thinks I should give it back so she can replace it on the bed, where, may I say, there are already three pillows.

Well, you know what? I like it. I don't wanna give it back.

P.S. from the Human:
Thank you so much, Kitties and Humans, for your lovely messages. It was a pretty scary week, all right, and it is really great to have him feeling good again.
I'm not sure he gets to keep the pillow though.

  3. What? Does she still not understand that the Cat Owns Everything and that it's you who allows her to use your things? We say the pillow stays!

  5. Wait, what?! Of COURSE you get to keep the pillow, Spitty! Your human can just get another one. When my human and her boyfriend split up, she got ALL new pillows to replace the old ones.

On second thought, maybe she can have the old pillow back... if she gets you a new one.

  6. Wow - her goodwill towards you and renewed commitment to supporting your needs didn't last long, did it? William's Kith and Kin have it quite right - is it in your house? If yes, it's yours. Tell her you're not ready to allow you to use it as yet.

  9. Awwwwww.....poor Spitty - is it too much to ask for a mere PILLOW? A cozy spot to rest a weary old body??? We should start a petition for "KEEP THE PILLOW FOR SPITTY"......he deserves it!

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
