Sunday Selfie: Hey, You Kids Get Off My Lawn!

The Human more than qualifies to be called, "Hey, Boomer!" and she says that even though *I* was born in 2004, in reality I am even older than she is. I didn't think that was even possible.

I am not really sure how that works and all, but I do find myself growing crankier and less tolerant of tomfoolery these days.

I lack a certain patience I used to have, and I move a lot faster to just drawing blood to get what I want. And, really, there's nothing wrong with that!

P.S. to catladymac: I don't really post on Facebook but sometimes the Human helps me comment on posts by our Human and Feline furiends! Her name on FB is Mary Lee but to be honest, she is usually too lazy to post anything there either!  Thanks for visiting me!  ~StK

  3. We agree that getting older makes you cranky.
It also makes you want to sleep more,as Georgia does ;)
I(Julie) am younger and I am 11 years old and Georgia is close to 18.

  5. the upside of growing old is that people expect you to behave like a cranky old fool. and you get away with it.

  6. I think it's perfectly understandable that you are crankier than you used to be - after all, you've had sufficient experience to know how things are likely to turn out and when that's 'not well', you may as well get cranky right up front rather than wait for the whole situation to unravel. As for drawing blood - again, that's experience: why work through all the other tomfoolery of asking politely, and cajoling, and arguing, when you KNOW that drawing blood gets the response you're looking for. It's all sounds like wisdom and experience to me Spitty.

  7. Well, it’s better to be a boomer than a Karen, Spitty. :)

  10. SPITTY! I'm glad I could inspire your human. I miss our witty repartee. Keep drawing blood. I know I will. I'm moving very slow these days. My battery is almost on E. Sigh.

  15. I was glad somebody else said about the FB because I couldn't find it either - so I looked up the new name you mentioned ... saw a cute black kitty and friends with somebody else I know from cat blog ... and sent a friend request with a note of my "blog" name.
    I hope this works

  16. Hey Mr Spitty,
Wow, You got your human to post twice! And I don’t think you are that old - though you are older than me!
Mom says Queen Penelope got NICER when she got older but she was still hellish.

  18. Sometimes we DO have to resort to bloodshed....if they don't pay attention then that's what happens. My Humans both can testify to that!

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
