Sunday Selfie: I Am a PlayBoy

No, now get your minds out of the gutter, Kitties and Humans! Or wait--
maybe I *am* that kind of PlayBoy too, and that's just a fine thing indeed.
But today, what concerns us is the PLAY part of PlayBoy. Ancient as I am, I retain a sort of growly-kittenlike fondness for several of my toys, including my green fishie sent to me long ago by my loyal, royal friend Punapippuri, King Kittycat of Finland(N), which you may remember from last Tuesday. My choice today, however, is an older-than-me cheap
bamboo back-scratcher with a little hand at the top (minus its thumb, which was lost in the Great Back-Scratcher incident of 1997).
What I like to do is, I like to put the bitey on the little bamboo hand part. It's good practice.

  1. Your own personal hand to practice chewing on sounds like a very good idea.

  2. I, too, am ancient, but I also still have some of that kitten playfulness still in me, especially with my poor pretzel. When I get tearing into that thing there's no telling what shape it'll be in when I'm done!

  4. Oooh - I like the sound of that practice, Spitty. Means that when you lash out at the Human, you know you're gonna score!

  8. The Great Back-Scratcher Incident of 1997; was it written up in the newspaper?
Spitty, it's good to change up your toys; anything to keep the humans guessing...

  9. Way to but the bitey on that back scratcher, Spitty. We have one here, but it still has all of its digits. :)

  10. Spitty, Cooper Murphy says he needs one of those to practice his Bitey skills; though, Mom says that he does a pretty good job on her hands and wrists without learning any more tricks. We sure are happy to have you back as A Sunday Selfie participant, and MM is loving seeing you everyday. Have a good week and stay safe. 14. Spitty yet again I find myself amazed that you and I have something else in common - a wooden back scratcher that we put the bitey on the hand. This one is my Dad's and I've managed to remove one finger but it is also nicely decorated with toothmarks ALLLLLLL over it.

    YAY FOR US!

  15. They say never bite the hand that feeds you, Spitty. So, when was the last time this bamboo hand fed you? Never? Okay, then, bite away!

  21. Way to go on the practice implements/hands. Plus awesome that you have a plaything that is so old. But then I shouldn't be surprised as my plaything, Mrs H, is ancient too! Hmm maybe that should read and ancient accident, MOL

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
