The Human is right, Spitty. We once went to a hotel and I remarked on all the beautiful peacocks walking around. I soon changed my mind. Every morning at 4 am they stood under our window screeching their heads off. I felt like pulling more than their feathers out. Just be glad you don't have the screechy end.
Peacocks are beautiful when they've got that big ole tailio spread out, but yeah, they are nasty things. The peahens are not flashy like the boys, but they are very cute!
Think of all the huge feathers you'd have to chomp through before you got to anything yummy to eat, Spitty! Perhaps some fresh turkey or chicken in your breakfast bowl might make it up to you for missing out on peacock breast?
Peacocks are noisy and prissy. Yeah they've got that big old tail with those big old feathers with eyes on 'em but so what. They don't have DIGNIFIED tails like we do. A feather would be a lot better than a whole screechy peacock for sure!

ReplyDeleteYeah, the mom brings us duck feathers and we always ask for the rest of the.bird but she tells us they are mean and nasty. Peacocks sound the same.

Mmmm, yeah, the whole peacock indeed. Some salt and pepper, a little thyme, garlic and sage, a few hours in the oven...
