Morning Playtimes, II

The Old Bat dragged herself out of bed (though at a more civilized hour; it *is* Caturday after all) and deigned to offer more playtimes this morning. As you can see, I could not help but participate:

It was all good till I reached wildly for my toy (I mean, it *is* mine, right?) and the Human stupidly put her finger in my way.

Not
My
Fault

Besides, a splotch of red adds visual interest to the picture.

Don't you think so?

  1. That your human chooses to trim her claws and then puts herself in front of yours without any protection is definitely Not Your Fault. Obvious. Goes Without Saying.

  2. You are lucky, Spitty - if that had happened here, SOME kitty would be in for a nail trim! Binga just had hers. Boodie's next.

But then, I imagine you aren't as easy to do a nail trim on. Not that Binga's easy... but she's doable.

  3. The splodge of red certainly adds a little something to the picture, Spitty.

  6. Oops, accidents happen. Our Mom always believes that all art you have an unexpected element, and it seems you think the same thing, Spitty. Hope to see you for Sunday Selfies tomorrow, and Mau hopes you'll come by Scouts in the afternoon. He is hosting a S'moresapalooza at the Campfire. 8. She should know better than to get her finger in the way, Spitty. Definitely not your fault.

  13. Its the Beins fault fer evolving naked thin skin! PROPERLY furred tougher skin would stand up to a claw or two...

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
