Guest Post by Butterscotch: Help Me

Please. Put me down. Oh please. Really. I'm asking nicely.

Context: The Human abandoned me a second time to go gallivanting once more to the Home of Lilybelle. This is Butters, Lily's brother, being manhandled by the Human, who is beyond slow to take a message.

  1. Oh, just look at that face! You are screaming HELP ME and the hoomins are going AWWWWW so cute. Clueless, they are.

  2. Dearie dearie dearie, Spitty. Last week your blog was invaded by a pic of another pusscat, now the actual post is being written by an introoder. What is the world coming to?

That said, clearly this pusscat is in dire straits, so I can understand why you wanted to give up your blog in a desperate attempt to assist. Good on you.

My advice to young Butterscotch is to abandon the 'asking nicely' nonsense - it ain't gonna work. Go the claws Butterscotch, and be quick about it before you're smooched to suffocation.

  4. Yikes - the eyes say it all....you want to run and hide but the human has you by the face and is cooing and ooooohing and aaaaaahing and speaking "baby talk" to you and it's all just SOOOOOOOOOOOO embarrassing! I've found the best thing is to just ENDURE then the minute you are released - run and hide (or pee on their shoes!).

  6. Butterscotch, we can see why you are being held and admired. You are quite gorgeous, but we do understand your desire to be put down. Hope no bloodshed ensued. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  7. Sorry Butterscotch, but humans can't help themselves when they see such handsomeness.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
