Sunday Selfie: Quarantine, Day Whatever

Happy Sunday, Kitties and Peeps! My life is going along just fine, as it always has. But honestly, the whining and crying from the Human is well-nigh intolerable. She wants to go out, she wants to go to movies and restaurants and parks and stuff. At first she got all excited because the Powers That Be said people could go outside for some exercise, as long as they observed "social distancing," but then they said "except for the elderly" and, let me tell you, she's a textbook case of that.  Strictly speaking, so am I, but we'll leave that discussion for another time, shall we?
We hope you are all doing well in these troubled times, and if your Human is making you crazy these days, well, Welcome to the Club, My Brothers and Sisters.

Quarantine Quartet

Lincoln Way (upper left) is usually the second-busiest street on this side of the city, but not this morning; 4th Avenue (which runs along the side of our building) was likewise deserted, as was Golden Gate Park, save for a random dog-walker or jogger. The Human says the park was kind of nice that way. Me, I'm bored with this already. You?

Days of Our Captivity: Human = 1, Kitty = 5785

Hello Kitties!  Well, we are living in interesting times, are we not? My life is unchanged, of course, as (except for occasional Hallway Adventures) this place has always been my world. The same, however, cannot be said of my Human. She is accustomed to flitting here and there whenever she pleases, and these couple days of confinement have made her fretful and cranky. Honestly, she hasn't even really managed "confinement" as she went to Sonoma yesterday to visit old friends (keeping appropriate social distance!) and tomorrow she is planning to go to her regular Meals on Wheels shift. Maybe all this time on her hands will convince her to help me blog more? Wouldn't it be nice to think so? We hope all our friends are keeping well! 

Sunday Selfie(s): Buffalo Gals . . . and Babies!

Since 1890, Golden Gate Park has had bison. The current herd is made up of five adult females. About a week ago, as part of the park's 150th anniversary celebration, five yearlings were added! Right now they are quarantined in the smaller north pasture (behind the far fence) but they'll be integrated with the grownup ladies at the beginning of April.
