Happy Halloween!

Kitties, While I do not strictly speaking have actual Halloween pictures (no costumes for this boy!), I do have two festive offerings to mark the day.

First, I give you Headless Spitty! Bwahahahaha:

Then, I humbly present Stripey Butt for your viewing pleasure!

I hope you all play lots of tricks and get lots of treats!

Cozy Day

Happy Caturday, Kitties!
Surprise! The Human actually decided to stay home with me today and try to make up for her
heartless abandonment of me
neglecting me because of the stupid game
being very busy last week.

I had the nice breakfast, and the nice cozy times in my little tent, and even the petting and brushing. That was all very pleasant.

Oh, Kitties! What is this feeling I am feeling? Could it be . . . contentment?

P.S.  Go Giants!

Two Can Play at This Game

Oh, so the Human thinks she's been ignoring me? It is to laugh! She belongs on amateur hour.
I'll show her how it's done!

There are so many perfectly interesting things to pay attention to right outside my window!
Say, what was your name again?

9 - 0

That was the score of the World Series game the Human attended this evening.

She had the most fun she's ever had in all her life, but as you have perhaps noticed, she has been sadly lacking in attention to me and my blogging needs.

Even though I have not pre-approved these pictures, she simply cannot help herself tonight.

FIRST PITCH

LAST PITCH

For some reason, she finds these boring pictures exciting.

I'll be back in action tomorrow, Kitties. There's no game till Caturday.

No Garden

I have envied other kittehs' delightful garden tours, so today I will give you a tour of the highlights [yeah, like there are any] of my Human's office at her j-o-b. First, a nice flattering shot of ME, surveying my kingdom about 15 minutes ago:

Those of you who signed on just to see my handsome self (Admiral?), you can stop reading now, and you will have seen the best part!

Okay, if you're still with me, here's the door to the Human's office. Since she can't grow real flowers, she has stickers instead:

Do you notice a little theme for her desk decor? Even though her students are in high school, they still like desk toyz!

Moving to the right, you see her lamp-snake, which I would like to meet in person and rip to shreds. Also, note the Cute Overload calendar:

Moving along to the conference table, we see a seasonal display of pumpkins (real & ceramic) and a few gourds (real), none of which she grew:

Next we come to an important item, especially this week. Who knew last January that October might actually have meaning in the lives of Giants' fans?

Finally, the piece de resistance, my NIP which has temporarily moved back indoors. Isn't it bee-yoo-ti-full? The other plant is boring and I don't even know what it is. The Human claims to have at least kept it alive, but sources tell me that these are almost impossible to kill, so no credit for that:

So, Kitties, that was the tour. Thanks for sticking with me through it.  I'm sorry it wasn't a garden, but at least it had that NIP at the end!

The Many Moods of Spitty-the-Kitty

Hello Kitties!  Yes, the Human thought it was amusing to turn this close-up into black and white because she thought it would look all artsy and everything. Well, of course, it does look good because it's ME, n'cest-ce pas? The title's downright misleading today, since I have a strict limit of one mood per picture. You'll have to use your imagination for the others. Also, it seems I do not look very different at all in black-and-white.

Oh, and P.S.  Guess who has a ticket to Game 2 of the World Series? She's being really insufferable about it, too.

Oh Bast!

We are all 'zausted round here this morning after the GIANT win last night. This is how bad of a person my Human is:  After watching the news and reading the SF Chronicle website late last night, absorbing all the happy delirium, she went this morning to the website of the Philadelphia Enquirer and read all the sad, painful dissections of the Phillies' failure to get the job done, and she LAUGHED. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

I figure the Humans' God is going to punish her for that because even we kittehs know it is Not Nice to gloat.

Phlay the Phillies!

All right, maybe that **is** a little violent, but I just can't watch anymore. You may turn the television back on when the NLCS is over. My nerves just can't take it. If the Giants get to the Series, I'll be needing some Valium.

Meanwhile, I'll just stare quietly into space.

Tocktober, Schmocktober

This is as good as I am going to let the Human snap tonight. I think the nice tail makes up for the lack of actual Tock-exposure, don't you?

I'm sure she'll try again before the end of the month. But we'll have to wait and see if I will be more cooperative.

Oh.My.Cod!

This cigar is totally pawsome!

Thanks, Human!

Surprise!

You know, when a boy is all warm and cozy having his late afternoon nap, it might not be the BEST TIME to sneak up on him with the Flashy Box and startle him awake from his blissful slumbers. Do you think he'll be all PLEASED to see you and give you the perfect photo op? Well, do you?

Brrrrrrr

Kitties! Guess what? The weather turned with a vengeance today! We had genuine rain and some honest-to-goodness autumn temps! The Human says, Hurray for the cold. Me, I hunkered down in my squashy bed inside my cozy little tent. It was heavenly, I tell you, heavenly!

A little visit with our friends

Hi Kitties! Well, it's a beautiful, chilly, foggy day here in the City by the Bay, my snuggly bed is all warm and cozy, the Human's happy because it's Friday: Life is Good at Chez Spit-tay!

So, this afternoon the Human took the Flashy Box to A&W's house to look in on them.

For better or worse, they are pretty much grown-up kitties now, and Aggie is looking like she has a mountain lion among her ancestors! Her Dad says she will have to go to the v-e-t (shhhhh) pretty soon for her ladycat surgery.

Friend Wally, who remains the sweetest cherryblossom ever, has already been "snipped" so there's no trip in his future.  The Human says, "Oh Wally, you're just the best little boycat in the whole wide wooorrrrrrrld!"

Hey! You there!  What about ME?

La donna รจ mobile

I am singing my little feline heart out this afternoon for The Baby, KonaKitty, The Admiral, Salem, Huffle, Ayla, Iza, my Beloved Caroline, Halle, Calle, Sukki, Sparkle (maybe even Grayce--not sure about her yet), and other enticing ladycats too numerous to mention.

Don't pay too much attention to the words. ;-)

My Life as a Giraffe

If I keep practicing like this, do you think I could make my neck longer? It's so inconvenient that the tastiest leaves are at the tippy top! Why doesn't the Human pick them for me? That would be really nice.

Staying Sharp

Hello Kitties! Well, what with the Human working ridiculous hours AND visiting Fritzie twice a day, she has been remiss in her duties to help me blog and visit all of my kitteh friends. Sigh. So what else is new?

Anyway, this is me getting my daily manicure. I like to keep the claws needle-sharp, the better to remind the Human of her feline obligations.

Our Friend Fritzie, etc.

Our friend Fritzie has been abandoned by his People who have gone on a five-day vacation without him. Have you ever heard of such an outrage in all your life? Just look at how ill-treated he is!
Oh, wait--what? Well, yes, my Human is visiting him twice a day, and yes, she's feeding him, and yes, giving him head-scritches. But, still-- it's the principle of the thing.

This is how much I really worry about Fritzie's problems, heh, heh.

P.S. Go Giants!

Would you buy a used mousie from this cat?

No? Well, I thought not, even though I'm doing my best to look sincere.

Oh:  P.S. Blue Angels

P.P.S.  My Human wouldn't really sell any of my toys (I'd like to see her try!), but she thought I looked kind of like a glad-handing used car salesman in this photo. Heh, heh.

Oh, My Ears!

My tender little ears!

It's Fleet Week here in San Francisco and that means the Blue Angels have arrived. They practiced for hours and hours, and hours and hours, and hours yesterday and today, and they made a whole lot of noise! Even more than we kittehs make when we sing in the night or play Thundering Herd of Elephants, and that's a lot.

And do you know what's worse, Kitties? Well, do you? Well, I do! They will perform tomorrow and Sunday too, and then my poor tender ears will be assaulted again!

And what sympathy and concern do I get from the Human? I'll tell you what! None! She says, "Pfft, Spitty, get over yousrself! It's quiet all the other days and people like to watch the Blue Angels. So stop complaining!"

Got a Tiger in my Tank!

The Human thinks she's all artsy now. Still, I do look kind of cool.

Happy Hider

I am a patient Boy, and I have tolerated a LOT of being chased around with the flashy box today, but This.Is.Where.It.Stops.

I am holed up here for the duration. There aren't going to be any cute or clever poses tonight. Me. Under the table. Take it or leave it.

Got that?

I am a W

Can you tell? It stands for (almost) Wordless Wednesday!

Happy Tail

Hi Kitties!  I have the Happy Tail tonight!
The S.F. GIANTS won their division yesterday,
our visitor is gone, and it's 64 degrees at 5:39.

 All's right with the world!

Ding-Dong

The Cousin's Gone!

Yes, the Human's Cousin was repelled by my fierce attacks  was driven off by my mighty claws  left to go home to Southern California.

He and the Human had a really swell time for a few days and attended a sort of family reunion in Sacramento. I was reasonably tolerant and even went so far as to sniff his hand (he didn't smell too bad for a human).

Still, that didn't stop me from rejoicing at the sight of the front door closing on his backside this afternoon. You really can't blame a boy for that, can you?

Time Out!

Well, Kitties, this is a revoltin' development. The Human has a house guest (not pre-approved by me, of course) and she thinks she'll be too busy to help me blog for a couple more days. Me, I don't like the Cousin (and frankly I don't think he's wild about me either).

Yeah, yeah, whatever. Maybe we'll sneak in a visit or two tonight or tomorrow morning.
