Lunch on the Fly

Yesterday the Human was walking along the Embarcardero and just look at what she saw!
Doesn't he look delicious? Wouldn't it have been nice if she'd bagged him and brought him home for me?
But, of course, she did not. So....
I'll just have to play with my Land Octopus. Fun, yes; tasty, no.
Sigh. So inconsiderate!

  1. Hey Spitz, you bag one a dem & we can close up shop & retire! We haz those here at the beach. They is BIG and MEAN; we seen some wild kitties out by the ocean puttin the stalk on 'em but trust me... Those giant morsels don't tolerate dat! With one flap they sent the kittie's flyin off in all directions! MOL. It was kinda funny.

  3. I have it on good authority that those particular birds don't taste very good, Spitty. Have your human pick you up a nice Cornish hen at the market. Mmm ... mmm ... mmm!

Have a great day, my friend!

  6. Spitty-the-Kitty, we don't know what to think. We're kind of glad the human didn't bring you that bird home. He kind of looks really mean, and he may have been able to peck your eyes out!

  13. Spitty,

You probably really had your paw set on that bird, but if you look closely, you'll see it's really kind of scrawny!

Love you in that first photo. That rug rest looks pretty comfy.

  14. Hi, Spitty, I am so sorry that you could not taste that delicious looking birdie.... I am sure your mom tried to get it for you but failed to do so. These fast foods are hard to catch :-(

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
