The musings of Spitty the Kitty
That's a lot of sand, but it's also a lot of WATER. We think they might cancel each other out and make napping at home an OK option.
Whoa! How could they be standing and playing in their litter box! She could've brought you home a fishie or something.
Sand is no fun for kitties to play in. It's too fine and sticky. I know because I've gotten some in my fur from the back yard where mom & dad didn't sweep up all the sand from one of their projects. But she could have gotten you some fresh sea food.
Holy Crop Circles Spittikins! Sammy's aliens have invaded the beaches... Iza-Lovey
And she didn't bring any of it back for you? Not even a little box of it? MOUSES!Purrs,Nissy
But if it made her happy, doesn't that make YOU happy?
No they don't, but if I could pee in patterns like that I'd be very happy!
Well, it's CLEANER than what you would do.....
Do you think your human left poo there?Looks like they like to scratch around in the sand, too. Happy Tuesday, Spitser!
hey spitty, you know there are a lot of woofies there.....digging and digging....emma and buster
What?! Humans are weird. No wonder there are so many old cats waving their tails around about them.
Those humans sure are decorative in covering up their poo...
I don't know, those humans seem to be making designs in the sand, just like cats do! Star says: You're feeling friskier and want to know if I want to come over?? Hello! I'm there! Zooming to the teleporter!!
That's the biggest litterbox that I've ever seen with a built in flusher yet. WoW, I'm very envious.
Nope, they just don't get it.
All that sand and she didn't bring you any! Shame shame shame!!
I would make other "circles" in that sand hahaha
Are the humans playing in a giant... litter box?!
wow! I'm with Texas! That's one ENORMOUS and beautiful litter box!
Spitty, concats on the cooler weather. We finally got some too as well as a day of rain. Fall may have been saved. We'll have to wait and see what the leaves do. The sand art is exquisite, but the people who made it probably don't have cats and so didn't know any better. Still waiting to see you over at Cat Scouts. Purrs and Hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Hi Spitty......glad you got some cooler weather (we did too) and the answer to the Giant Sandbox question is NO I DO NOT THINK HUMANS GET IT ABOUT SAND.....we cats know what it's for and that's that!Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Ooooh! Maybe I should start making designs in my litter box!; ) KatiePS… thank you SO much for your well-wishes for Glogirly. She’s feeling better already and hopes that her new-monia, will be old-monia soon!
I would like to see my Dad try and scoop that one!
Wow that's a huge sandbox. Well did they at least bring you a sample to try?Sue B
What a waste of sand. Baggy and Nin - the cats of Lee and Phod
Spittola, some of the comments cracked mommy up!
We like to make designs in our boxes...but nothing like that. We're glad it finally is cooling down for you, Spitty.
Now that is a big sandbox. It has been zillion years since me saw that!KissesNellie
That's a pawsome sandbox Spitty! Mom really likes the patterns.Hooray, it's cooler for you too, that's pawsome!Sasha, Sami, & Saku
Our human has been going to the giant sandbox all her life and never has learned how to use it properly either. Some just NEVER learn!
What a wonderful idea! We have lots of sand around here. I have one small piece of advice, though, for this blog post. You might want to put something like: "CATS. Do not try this at home!"
It is kinda cool though...
Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
