Spring Break: The Final Report Card

Spring Break
Days 7 - 10

Noms:        B+
Brushies:   A-
Petting:      B+
Playtime:   B
Overall grade:  B+

Comments:
The Noms have improved significantly, though her ability to predict my preference on a particular day is woefully lacking. The Brushies have been fantastic, sometimes 15-20 minutes at a time, twice a day even. If only this could become a regular occurrence, what a Happy King I would be! Pettings have been fine, better than average, but nothing really special. Playtime was pretty good Friday and Caturday, perhaps an attempt to atone for the poor performance on Days 5 & 6. There was wand toy time, box time, fev-ver time, and even hand-to-paw batting time. If the sessions had been more frequent and/or of longer duration, her grade could have been even higher. She returns to work tomorrow, and I expect service to suffer. Perhaps I needs me a bell . . .

  1. Wow! That is a big improvement. I have told my mum she has to get me a bell too.

  5. Wow, my human could take some lessons from yours, Spitty! I don't want a bell here, though - she should just be able to read my mind.

  6. We're glad she improved Spitty...and we really hope she doesn't slack off just because she's going back to work.

  7. I need me a bell too or maybe some sharper teeth. I’m coming to live with you cos TW gets a failing grade in everything. You look so adorable on the blue pillow. I hope I don’t give you any germans during our little late night trysts.

  8. We are pleased to see, that under your expert tuition, another human is improving her skills as a servant. This is most excellent. And yes, you need a bell!

  11. So did you renew her contract? We think she has improved greatly. Due to your expert instruction, of course!

    Happy Monday!

  12. You DO need a bell, Spitty!!! We just saw that pawsome video. I think we ALL need bells!!!
Your human fared pretty well. I doubt Glogirly can maintain even a C average.

Star says: So you'll be all alone tomorrow? all by your lonesome? Well, I can help with that.. purrrrrrr If you want the company that is? XOXOXOXO

  14. The trouble is, Spitty, that having a bell won't help you if the Human is not at home to respond to it. Rats!

  15. Not a bad grade Spitty but sadly it will be downhill from now on as poor mum goes back to work. What will you do? Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  16. Ooh, a bell is a good idea! As long as it's not the kind of bell that she puts on you. We don't think those are a good idea at all.

  17. Oh yes! A bell! I saw that marvelous kitty with his "I need service" bell. Mom has an app for one on her old iPod. Maybe she'll give it to me and I can play it! I would love to make her hop!

  18. Sounds that your human is fairly well! A- for brushies is excellent!
Hand-to-paw batting must be fun game :-)
The bell is a great idea. Love that video!

  20. That is a great picture of you pal. If you get a bell;, be sure she is trained to use it. All in all, I think she did pretty good. My human has really slacked off again. I just don't know what to do with her.

  21. WOW a bell! Yes we all need a bell. 4 kitties all ringing their bells at the same time, Meowma couldn't possibly ignore us then. Thanks for the hint, King Spitty.

  24. Those grades are definitely an improvement over the last time you posted them. We are certainly happy for you King Spitty that your PA pulled her act together prior to the end of her vacation. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  25. Well I'm glad her grade has managed to improve rather than go on a downward spiral. As for a bell - I've already put that on my Santa Wish List.....I can't get that video out of my mind!

    Hugs, Sammy

  26. exactly what you need is a loud bell hanging around your neck so that when you move she can hear it and would run towards you to ask what you need, isn't that fun?

  27. Do you know how impressive you are with that pose? I bet you do. You could be an announcer on the BBC you look so stately.

  28. I think your Human showed significant improvement, Spitty. I am pretty impressed! I think she deserves a treat or a pet!

  29. That's a big improvement! Hopefully she will keep it up, Spitty. This report card was a good idea. Maybe we gave our pawrents a report card, they would see that they have areas of much-needed improvement as well.

  30. Well I would say you are doing better than we have at the Tomcat Home. I have to suffer the Dad who says he is trying to put forth some egalitarian ideal with petting fur all furs to be equal. Whats that about anymeow!

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
