Why I Am Svelte and the Human Is Not

Here is MY food supply:

Delicious, varied, ample, is it not?

But Oh My!  Just a block away from the little street we live on is a bigger street. Here's a nearby three-block stretch::

Pluto's! Salads and delicious sandwiches!
Naan & Curry!  Tikka Masala to die for.

La Fonda: She ate here twice in the last couple weeks.
Villa Romana: One of her faves. Food, food and more food.

Beanery:  Great coffee, which would be fine if she didn't eat so many pastries
Darla's: 2nd-best burger in the neighborhood, and she ought to know

Perilla:  Garlic Noodle Garlic Noodle Garlic Noodle!
Crepevine: Yum, crepes, omelets & more. She met a friend for brunch here last week. Again.

Lavash--Flatbread, kabobs, spices...heaven!
Lime Tree: Believe it or not, this is one she hasn't eaten her way through yet.

So, there ya go. And that's why she's been crabby since a week ago when she started a "diet." Uh-huh. We'll see how long THAT lasts.

Me, just gimme my Stinky Goodness, my crunchies &; I'm good to go. Say, maybe she'd like to try my regimen for a week?

To the Human: GAH! Diets are the pits. I think you just need to get on the floor and play with Mr. Nippy several times a week.

We live near a bunch of those yummy but human-only restaurants too. But my human eats at them only once or twice a week, and when she does, it is her whole meal for the day. She does not want to have to diet (she knows how not-fun that is), so she is careful. She says your human totally has her sympathy!

The Beins definitely generally don't eat as carefully as we do. Ours does though. He might last a while.

Oh my, you made our Mom very hungry looking at those places to eat such good food. We understand why your Mom is crabby at going on a diet with all that good food right there. Maybe do some exercises with her Spitty. Good luck Mom.

Best wishes for your mom on her diet. She has so many tempting places to feast on goodies, we know it is hard!

My mum and dad LOVE to eat out. I prefer when they stay in, because I can have little tastes of chicken and things when they do.
