The musings of Spitty the Kitty
Surely we would want the humans to do dishes. Would you want to put your paws in water? Yech!
Well they still have to scoop the poop
We thought about poop scooping too. And actually going hunting for Fancy Feast and Gerbers, or whatever it is you prefer right now Afterall, where do you find Gerbers in the wild ? And feral Fancy Feast ?
Someone needs to buy da cans. And cook da bacon!
Humans also take out the trash and change the litter box. Hm, maybe the former isn't such a good thing.
Yep. Poop scoopin'. Unless they left a door ajar for us then we could go outside in nature to poop. That would be something!
Well, Spitty. I like to get petted. So I guess I would need the human for that. ~Wally
Best to keep the slaves, er, humans!
Don't forget the brushies, petting, cleaning the litter box, providing boxes, blankies, and snuggles. Humans are remarkably useful.
I think you're being a bit mean Spitty. The Indulged Furries are right - we humans do loads of things besides opening cans and should be considered 'remarkably useful'. I'm wondering if perhaps you're not exploiting your Human's capacities to the full.MeganSydney, Australia
Oh, and brushies. And cleanin' the litter box and stuff.
Well, chin scritchies are impawtant too.
And to scoop out our litter boxes....
Wise, wise words Spitty. We will add the cleaning and all other horrid stuff we don't want to do. Crikey they do that anyway. Isn't the world a wonderful place when you have staff? Have a wonderful Wednesday.Best wishes Molly
If a cat licks it clean, it's clean, right? MOL The trouble comes when you furry peeps leave snibbles in the dish.. Then it hardens to concrete and you need a jackhammer to remove it! but hey, don't worry about it, we humans live to serve you kitties. But then, you already knew that, right?Star says: Yes please on the visit! I'll be over in a minute. I can't believe how they manhandled me just for one, or two, little furry balls.. I was glad to see the barbarian get it worse though, heh heh heh, and one of those introoders too. But I still say I was the most traumatized because they took part of my beautiful ruff! I need cuddles Spitty! XOXOXO
OH, Spitty. You are being summoned but it sounds like a good reason. I could have used you as well. Mom and I endured two, count 'em, two shearing storms. Lots of trees down, buildings destroyed but for us, just a big limb down.
As your command !!!
Someone has to clean the litter boxes, Spitster! Humans are good at that...
I've often thought about that myself...
We agree with Meomeomans. That just about sums it up.
We will always want to have our servants Spitty!
Spitty, there is so much more than just opening the food cans...
Gosh......it's tempting to think if we could open cans we'd be totally independent of humans BUTTT, there are many things to consider including that icky litterbox cleaning thing. Also, while I'd like to think I could panhandle and collect green papers to buy my own food, I much prefer my Domestic Assistant handle that.....she has a very soft lap too - there's that to consider. Hugs, Sammy
Without having read the comments, we'd still want them to keep the litter boxes clean. WE sure don't want to do that chore!

Heck no, we could eat right out of the can!! MOL!! Love, Cody
Wow, those are furry deep thoughts Spitty! Now that we think about we probably need the beans for those things and scritches too, MOLSasha. Sami, & Saku
And maybe open those blinds for you as well, and we do need somebody to give us scratches and brushies. Just sayin'. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
and empty the litter box, and do brushies and fluff the blankies....so I guess yes...
Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
