Some hot glue or craft glue might resurrect your butterfly. And I like how your back end stays almost perfectly still as you captured the butterfly.

Great work Spitty! Oh my gosh, that's exactly how the girls play over here! They will run and jump for about two minutes, then they lay down and wave their paws after the toys! Like you, they have good aim and get a grip on the end and don't let go! They haven't ripped off the toy end though! yet.. The girls are both blowing kisses at your great play style!
Far from flailing around, I would have said that those were the fastest paws in the west, Spitty! As for your human - she looked mighty silly waving the stick when you'd already snatched the butterfly.

You have the fastest paws we have ever seen Spitty! You have great eye/paw coordination to have deaded that butterfly so quick. The human coulda poked your eye out waving that pointy wire around. We think that deaded moth could be reattached with hot glue. It looks like it might be good for one more round with the King.
