The Human says she finds my regular stretching routine, well, not to put too fine a point on it, "bizarre." She says her other kitties managed to stretch in one fluid motion and not two sequential positions. I say, "Honestly, Human, don't you have better things to critique?"

I think that's just jealousy talking, Spitty. Humans are not nearly as flexible as we are. And besides. Can she *prove* this one motion thing is actually what her other cats did?

I do two distinct positions too - downward facing cat and upward facing cat! I don't see what the big deal is.

Nope many of us are two step stretchers here. And may we compliment you on most well groomed 'tocks.
Perhaps you could ask the Human to give you a demo a time or three (or five or 17) so you know precisely what you're meant to be aiming for. Seems a reasonable request. Until then, the two-step stretch remains and is not open to critiquing.

I'm a two step stretcher too. Nothing beats a good stretch.
Not only do we look a lot alike, we stretch the same! Tell Mommy that we vote for OUR way. You wanna stretch every kitty muscle. Yes, UTB it is...we may find other things to do. I have some Cordials to eat...wanna see?
