1. No Kitty
2. No Kitty
3. No Kitty
4. Sorta Kitty
5. Lotsa Real Kitty

1. The Human finally removed the bright red Christmas wreath from our door, and replaced it with this autumnal one, which was a Christmas present.  There must be some sort of meaning in this, don't you think?

2. Thirty years ago the Human attended an art auction where she purchased this painting for what was to her an outrageous price. Still, it has hung in all her classrooms and offices ever since. But she never allowed herself to go to an art auction again!

3. Wow--look at that moon! Taken from the corner of our street coming home from the moobies on Caturday. She *should* have been home with me.

4. Okay, pay attention now cause this is impawtant! The dark red area of each map shows "exceptional" drought. The map on the left is from January 2016. The dark red covered more than 70% of the state. The middle one is from January 3 of this year, when the dark red area had shrunk to 18%. The final map is from January 10, 2017. The dark red now covers barely more than 2% of the state!
So what's the "sorta kitty" part? If you look carefully, you can see the magnets at the lower center of each map are kitty butts! Ha ha meow!

5. No words necessary, amirite?

Spitty, it's nice to see the drought is almost over. We love the kitty butt magnets. Were you a model for any of them?

1. ?
2. Auctions are dangerous.
3. When we get to see the moon over the mountains, it's always the size of a pinhead, so we guess we're impressed.
4. HA HA HA HA!!
5. And what about the Spitty drought?

It's amazing (and wonderful) that the extreme drought levels have been so greatly reduced! Picture 5 is our favorite, paws down. :)

My human has several things from art auctions she went to many years ago. She regrets nothing! MOL

Good to see ya - it's been a long time!

1. Why is your Human hanging up autumnal decorations in mid-winter? Is she that easily confused?

2. This picture has given her joy over many years. Good stuff!

3. Moon - yep. But a pic of Spitty would be better. And knowing that she was at home looking out for you would be a much better use of time than gallivanting around at the movies.

4. Very good.

5. Outstanding.

That painting called to her, and she bought it! That's what art is! And Spitty, you are a work of art yourself, getting all warmed in the sunpuddle. Hopefully, California has no more red on the map in the near future.

What a wonderful sunpuddle you have Spitty. Must feel so nice. What a wonderful thing that the drought is only 2 % of the state now. Too bad torrential rains were needed to make that happen. That moon is incredible...so low in the sky and huge. That is the wolf moon. Did you know that? Hoping to see the red stuff shrinking before CA just dries up and blows away in the wind! Those kitty bun magnets are totally cool.....love em! As for the other photos......well of course my fave is the one of you in a gigantic sunpuddle.

#2 that art was worth every penny. I love it and its meaning and why your mom bought it is crystal clear and will shine thru forever. What a lovely piece! The promise of education and open minds at that age. Utterly charming. I love how the chairs bisect the scene and the girls.

#4 no words necessary. So xoxoxoxoxoxoxo. Bitey!

My favorite it the photo of you, that is all that matters. Glad the drought is almost over too, a kitty needs water.

I am here, Spitty and I come without sardine skin or bones. TW had to mash it real fine before I would look at it. MOL!
