Tree-Time Tuesday: Dawn to Dusk

So yesterday, the Human and the Intruder traveled north to Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve in Guerneville, and then later (much, much later) they went out in search of Christmas lights to gawk at. I don't care nuffing at all for the lights, but I think I would really enjoy sharpening my little swords on those gigantic* trees.

I love clawing trees, and I've done so on my college outings as a therapy cat. I'd love to try my paw at a redwood!

Spitty, I haven't seen any intruder...are you sure there is one? I mean, maybe you ate too much mincemeat pie, or figgy pudding, or whatever people serve around this time of year...

Whoa! There are enough scratching posts out there for all of us.

Our humans have been to Armstrong Redwoods; they agree that the trees are conducive to sharpening your claws.

You might wanna re-think your attitude to the Christmas lights, Spitty - imagine the havoc you could create by ripping and tearing them!

They went off without you? We guess we have the answer to Friday's question then.

Mon said she would have loved being there too. She has always hoped for a trip there anyway...

I thought she was going to spend all her time with you.

Both of these photos show beautiful things. But the natural is always nicer, and we bet you would enjoy a jaunt in the woods. Of course, our mom is crazy for Christmas lights. Both have their place.
