Sunday Selfie: I'm Predictable

Yes, a fine,
sunny day will always find me spending a few restful hours in my favorite purple beddy, peering through the grimy window (yes, Human, you must wash the outsides, too), and passing silent judgment on the neighbors. It's a fine way to amuse myself while catching some rays.

It puts me in mind of the great Alice Roosevelt Longworth, who said, “If you haven't got anything nice to say about anybody, come sit next to me.”

Hey, that's a fine hobby, and a great spot. Who cares if it's predicable??? We felines let nothing get in the way of our comfort.

Why pass silent judgement against the neighbors? Let ‘em have it!

Young Alice certainly knew how to live.

I guess passing judgement on the neighbours gives you a break from passing judgement on the Human.

That's quite the view you have from your purple beddie, Spitty. Passing judgement sounds like a great way to spend your time in the sun!

No sun here to enjoy. Lots of gloomy skies.

We had a beautiful day in Portland today! Of course, I was stuck inside all day for the cat show.

oh goods a furry nice place to get some sun and check on the neighbors! I sure hope they are not doing odd things like wrinkling their noses and turning husbands into puppies or folding their arms and blinking majors into genie bottles... mol

Mrs H just smiled when she read your quote, which usually means that she agrees and that it has underlying truth and wisdom and fun :)
She sympathises with your staff about the windows, as ours need doing too, but as they are so awkward to clean and with bad weather she doesn't think anyone should be scaling the higher towers to clean windows that the winter will just ruin again. Or is that just an excuse? MOL

I've always thought that purple beddy was the NICEST comfy spot and the most PERFECT spot for some sun ever. You are a lucky guy.

Spitty, come here where the windows are REALLY filthy. The condo people haven't cleaned our outside windows for 4 years and we're on the 4th floor with screens so TW can't do them.

I thought that was Grumpy Cat's quote. I guess she stole it :)

That is the ideal spot for people watching in the sun.

As if you'd deign to consider the neighbors, Spitty!

We love that quote, Spitty. Tell us: do you assign nicknames to the--ahem--less fortunate that you spy? We do. ;-)

Spitty, that was THE thing to say and I am sure all we kitties concur with that!

OOH WOW I love the quote. Our neighbours have a dog so their names are not printable....

Spitty, we can imagine you sitting around with friends gossiping about your neighbors. What else does a kitty have to do when not napping or being spoiled? Hope your gossip isn't too mean!
