Sunday Selfie: Disappointment Abounds

Well, Kitties, it's a tale we've heard before: The neglect, the dismissal of my needs, the regret, the apologies, the vows to do better, the bitter disappointments as she fails yet again.
Really, it's a wonder I have the strength to go on.
And yet, the day is pleasant, the air is warm, the window is squeaky clean, my breakfast was adequate. And here I am again. Finally.

Spitty - I always worry when you don't post for a couple of days or more. "What is he suffering now?" I ask myself. "What is the poor chap being expected to put up with this time?" I'm so far away I feel completely helpless. Your determination to focus on the positives is admirable - indeed, it's truly inspirational. Well done poor poor you.

Well in spite of the intermittent abuse you suffer, you do look good - and comfy - and like you are enjoying your comfy bed and clean window. I suppose things could be worse - right?

Actually, Spitty, the quilt that you are sprawled on is very cute! Who says quilts have to be squares and blocks? Obviously, both you and your human tend to do things by your own rules.

You need to help your human with her schedule, Spitty. I'm sure she could fit more of you in, if only she was shown how!

Poor Spitty. You do look quite drained by all the broken promises. You could always come here--we never get a break from our mom.

Well.... it could be much worse, right? You really don't look put out much at all, at the moment.

That’s what happens when humans retire. But it’s good to see you, SPitty.
