Days of Our Captivity: Human = 1, Kitty = 5785

Hello Kitties!  Well, we are living in interesting times, are we not? My life is unchanged, of course, as (except for occasional Hallway Adventures) this place has always been my world. The same, however, cannot be said of my Human. She is accustomed to flitting here and there whenever she pleases, and these couple days of confinement have made her fretful and cranky. Honestly, she hasn't even really managed "confinement" as she went to Sonoma yesterday to visit old friends (keeping appropriate social distance!) and tomorrow she is planning to go to her regular Meals on Wheels shift. Maybe all this time on her hands will convince her to help me blog more? Wouldn't it be nice to think so? We hope all our friends are keeping well

Mum is happy to hang around the house. Doing some chores, reading, crow-shay.

Blogging more would be nice, Spitty! My human hates being stuck at home. Let's ignore the fact that she works at home and is not going out a whole lot less than she was before! Plus she is setting up some virtual lunch dates with pals.

Oh - you're right, Spitty. This cloud may very well have a silver lining, leading to your Human spending more time focussed on your needs and helping you with your blog.

It's not quite true, however, that this world you're in has always been your world. I understood that you were captured (against your will) from the wild when you were a few months old. So, there was some kind of life before the one you've had for the past 14+ years. And I do wait to hear the story of that capture one of these days.

I would think Meals on Wheels is more important now than ever before!
Spitty, tell you mom that I emailed her the other day; found some more books that take place in San Francisco that she might enjoy...while she stays home with YOU!

The old woman and I are self-isolating, a move that she seems to think involves, reading books, watching TV, eating cake and drinking wine. The old man, though, has to go to work every day. She leaps to her feet and starts dusting as soon as she hears him come home. #ShakesHeadInDisgust Love Toffee.

How kind of your mom to still go out to volunteer- you need to cut her some slack for that. XO

Purrrhaps the positive out of all of this MESS is that you may be able to blog a bit more Spitty....wouldn't that be just grand? We think so!

Well, it's nice of your human to help people in need, Spitty. But she also needs to help you blog more. MOL.

Mom is on day 2 of confinement; she's going out to hunt for the elusive toilet paper. She's not picky anymore, does not matter what specie (1-ply or 2-ply) as long as she brings some home.

Good thing we don't fancy them as play things otherwise they would really be in trouble.

That would be super exciting if you were able to blog more, as a certain girl kitty at our lunch with a friend. Sawyer has made it impossible for her to leave the house for anything else. Maybe your mom would have time to get you back to Cat Scouts. The site got hacked a few weeks ago, and we are starting over! Anyhoo, take good care of your mom. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer with kisses for you from MM.
