Easter Sunday Selfie:
Hoppy Easter to Kitties and Humans!

In these very trying times, we send our best love to all of our friends, feline and human, and hope you all have a fine Easter day with lots of chocolate (humans) and toonas (kitties).

We know we have been gone for a long time, and this time she does at least have a reason. About two-and-a-half weeks ago, Yours Truly had a seizure. After lots of investigation, they have not come up with a cause, so we are proceeding cautiously. The Powers That Be say they do not want to put a kitty on meds on the basis of one incident, and I am pleased about that! I got a non-alarming bill of health, and have been fine since. I am eating like a little piglet, enjoying my playtimes, irritating the Human for sport, and sleeping like the Champ I have always been. My only real complaint is that she stares at me, and I am sure many of you older kitties understand that. It's just unnerving, isn't it?

Anyway, we're back (on our regularly irregular schedule) and hope to be around more often. (::glares at the Human::)

Today I must say farewell to my Beloved Iza-Lambie, who slipped off to the Bridge just yesterday, leaving Mark, Marley and Ayla to comfort one another as they mourn their beautiful girl. Iza-Lambie stole this mancat's heart with her enchanting silken tum, her feisty-yet-loving nature, her gleefully mischievous plans, and of course her inner and outer beauty. I will see you again, sweet girl.

I missed ya, Spitty - and was worried about both you and the Human. I was hoping that she hadn't come down with the dreaded Virus. Very pleased to hear that you're back, firing on all cylinders, and that the Human is alive and well and - no doubt! - keen to meet your every need.

I happened to read in today's paper that San Francisco has done a particularly good job of keeping virus infections low - well done! I'm sure that your regal edicts had something to do with all the beins paying attention and doing as they were told. We're fortunate that here in Australia, beins are behaving well also and that as a result, we look like we're 'flattening the curve' in a pretty short timeframe. Yaaaay us.

Keep us posted please. The world needs to hear more from you right now.

Hi Spitty - The Big Thing here. I want to thank you for the kind words. But also very much thank you for your love for her. You were her dear cat-love and object of devotion. You made her happy, loved, and desired. You made her inner self burst with color and you brought out the best in her. One of her last meows was your name. I was there to hear it.

We here remaining at Mark's Mews thank you for all the good attention and love you showed her and the happiness you brought to her life.

In some future time, Humans will think of Romeo and Juliet, and Spittikins and Iza-Lambie equally...

I really hope that seizure was just a one time thing, and never happens again!

I am glad to hear that you and the human are doing well. I hope the seizure was a one off but know how worrying it was. It is very good that you got a clean bill of health. I hope she is running around attending your every need.
Happy Easter to both of you.

Happy Easter! It's good to hear from you. I'm sorry you had an incident, and pray that it's just a one off. Those do happen. And yes, as my two beloved kittehs aged, I did watch over them anxiously.

I'm also very sad to hear about Iza.

Oh Spitty I'm glad to hear that you got a clean bill of health after that MEAN seizure got you. That part is encouraging. We will certainly be POTP-ing that you are never again visited by the seizuremonster. Meanwhile, Moms do like to stare; they will tell you it's just because you're so adorable (which of course is true) but it's really because they are NOSY and want to watch you breathe and whisker-twitch and wonder what you're dreaming about. None of their business right? You just rest easy oh King....and allow your Mom to keep US all informed as to your Highness' health. Hoppy Easter.

Hugs, Teddy

OH, Spitty, we hope that seizure was a one and done. We all know how scary those are seeing Sawyer go through them frequently. we also are happy that you did get a good report from the vet. Mom tried every trick she knows to link you to the Sunday Selfies hop, but nothing worked. We sure are sorry and appreciate the effort. You and your mom take good care of yourselves. MM sends kisses. Spitty I'm thinking maybe you were testing the human's level of competency in times of medical situations. Ok so now you know your answer and you mustn't scare your devoted human and your online friends anymore. Enjoy the extra attention, demand more brushies but only on your terms! Purrs to you Spitty
