Phew! Just made it! Honestly, the Human is losing brain cells by the minute now! I reminded her and reminded her of her commitment to post on Sundays, and she kept saying, "Yes, Spitty, I know, Spitty. I won't forget," and here it is 8:15 p.m. on Sunday night and clearly she *did* forget. Must I do everything? In compensation, she says, she does have a mid-week post or two almost ready to go. One of them is my favorite, heh heh.
We had 🌞 today after rather a damp and dreary week, during which we didn't even get that much rain. But we guess we'd rather live with our ongoing dry winter than endure what the poor Texans are dealing with. Hope all of you kitties in and around the Lone Star State are doing okay!

Although we post daily, my human rarely gets around to it until the evening (that is, unless she has a date). So 8:15 is not so last minute around here. In fact, it is 10:35 right now and my human is still working on Monday's post.
It is Monday here but I will let the human off because of the 8 hour time difference. It is always good to see you whenever it is.
But boy Spitty - the pic you've chosen for today's post is well worth the wait: you are magnificent!

You did indeed make it Spitty!!!
Spitty I like all the stripiness (is that a word?) the sunshine through the blinds gives to your luxurious tailio. I also think it was rather swell of your human to get a post up for you today with a promise for more this week. I hope that's not a TEASE!
Hugs, Teddy
Better late than never. You are looking extra handsome. Emmy sends her love. XO
Spitty our Dad went on a Dry Post streak a ways back and it too forever to straighten him out. You will get her on track again. Great seeing you and that you are alright. We are freezing under like 2' of snow. Purrs for Texas too. See ya
Mr Spitty! We are glad you made it!We were in bed by 8:15 last night (Mom likes to read in bed) Mom stayed up to read until 2:00 AM! She says she can do that now that she is retired! We did NOT see that you posted until we looked at Sundays to see if we missed any body and we are glad we did because we saw that you were here! We are so furry happy to see you! Have a Marvellously Happy Day!
You are a sight for MY eyes Spitman. TW is losing both brain cells and hair by the second. MOL!
Whew! We're glad to see you! We thought your human had just made another empty promise, but we get the brain cell thing. Our mom's failing brain cells have converted to excess consumption and I fear soon there will be an all-out war for food between her and Izzy the Chub. Clearly I will be on the losing end!

Late Sunday is still Sunday. You even made it while it was still Sunday here on the east coast. The sun made your fur look special. MM was super happy to see you and sends oodles of kisses. We look forward to some mid-week posts. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
I'm very concerned. The space around your throne looks very empty. Has she been selling off all your toys or worse; burning them to keep you warm? *shocked face* Let us know toote damn sweetie and we can send you some more. Xo Ollie
You are all stripey Spitty!
We're glad she honored her commitment, Spitty. Even though it was, like, barely! :)
I just read on the Cat Blogosphere site that Spitty has passed away. This is terrible news. I lost my Josie a week and a half ago. It seemed like she would always be here. I mention this because it seems like Spitty too would always be here. I am very sorry he had to go. Godspeed, Spitty, and God bless you.
OMC!!! my Spit-tay kit-tay, why did yoo leave us
I am sorry for your loss.
Oh gosh, we just read the sad news that Spitty has passed. We are so, so sorry and are sending hugs and purrs. 🙏❤️
Spitty be gentle with your Mama. I totally get it. I was making a commitment to certain days too.....never worked out. I blog so little now that even committing to a certain day is irritating! Now, I simply just blog when I WANT TO. We all understand and will be there for you, that being said, it's great to see you and your handsome self! xoxo
We just learned from the CB that dear Spitty had passed away this week. We are deeply sadden by the news and wanted to send our softest purrs and deepest condolences.
We just learned of Spitty leaving us and are deeply saddened. Mom Mary we send you our deepest condolences at this sudden turn and our purrs and prayers are with you. Spitty fly free and join the other giants of the Cat-Blogosphere who are waiting to greet you. This is a sad day for us all. We will miss your wit, wisdom and above all your charm. You truly were King Spitty and may you forever reign over us all.

Mary, I am sadder than sad. I can't write right now, every time I try I start to weep. I know there is a Spitty sized hole in your heart. Just know that I love you and send you virtual hugs and strength.
Love Barb
Just hearing this sad news about Spitty crossing his Bridge.
Mum and I are so very sorry to hear this.
It is never easy to say goodbye to a beloved kitty. Many hugs and purrs to you.
"mum" Nancy and Purrs from Julie
We are so sorry to hear that Spitty has gone over The Bridge. We know how much you will miss him. And we are quite sure that Iza pushed her way forcefully to the front of the crowd to welcome him and gaze adoringly at him once again...
So much love coming to Mom Mary. You must be missing your Spitty Boy so much.
Know that I was there to meet him, along with so many who arrived ahead of him. He is fine and free, but we all feel so much for you.
Bye for now, we'll all see you soon ... so we'll just leave you with the meow, the hiss and even the little "bitey" you asked for. Heaven probably doesn't know it just yet, but they've just receive one of a kind and they'd all better watch out!
Farewell, handsome, with love.
Dearest King Spitty, we are so so sorry you've been called to The Bridge. We know lots of friends were there to meet and greet you. Some of us are there and we know you'll let us know if we get too annoying. Sending so much love to your Mom and gentle purrs from all the Colehaus Cats.
Oh SPitty. Mom, me...we love and miss you terribly.
