I'm Not Fat, I'm Fluffy. . .
Oh Wait . . .

All right, I know I'm a Big Girl. But beyond a certain point, the When-are-you-due questions just aren't all that amusing, right?

I am a Fine Feline Specimen and while I am feeling grateful and even affectionate toward my Hostess, her lap is--well, shall we say well-padded? Glass houses and all.

And just by-the-by, there's another orange tabby living in this room! And she talks my language! The Hostess gently explained the concept of "mirror" to me, but I think she might be having me on.

You look most wonderful so just don't pay any attention to anything otherwise sweetie.

Oh dear, we are so sorry. We just heard that Spitty has crossed the rainbow bridge. Mama's heart just broke.

Love and good vibes sent your way.

Maggie - you are a quick learner indeed. The human you're staying with is a wonderful person but ... she does like to retain the upper hand! Just ignore her comments about your size, and remain sceptical about the mirror: it may be just some dastardly trick she's trying to play on you.

Nothing wrong with being well built and muscular, and the mirror will help you develop your poses as you flex the furs! And that gorgeous orange kitty in the mirror, well don't yell at it too much as you'll find it can yell back just as much !

Like Megan above says, just ignore the comments about your size. I have to put up with that crap every single day, and I'm learned to just ignore dad. Plus, he's kind of a dipsh*t, so I have that to make me feel better, too.

A little padding doesn't hurt! You are looking lovely and relaxed, and enjoying your stay with your hostess.

You look gorgeous just as you are! Better a bit well-padded than malnourished. You appear to have settled in quite well to your temporary lodgings. :-)

Your talkative friend looks just as lovely as you!! (and the glass-houses part made me laugh)

Maggie, you are indeed a fine specimen. You know ginger kitties are known to be a tad zoftig. We realize you are somewhere between buff and ginger, but that still counts. And we think you are quite lovely, as is the cat in the mirror. Sending big hugs your way. Oh I think you are absolutely not fat - you are a fine full-figured gal....or as a friend of ours says "pluxurious" ! That other cat in the house that you see in the door is nowhere near as lovely as you are....But I'm sure she likes you because I just bet she does EVERYTHING that you do right?

Hugs, Teddy

No worries Maggie you are thin as a... well just because we can't think of some item off hand has no impact at all on your fine feline form! I see that other cat so don't let her pull your tail on that

Hi Maggie. It’s nice to meet you. I missed you the other day when it was explained how you came to live there. I think you’re gonna like your temporary housing. And you sure don’t look fat to me. But that other cat??? Might need to skip a meal or two. ;) ~Ernie

Hi Maggie! Sorry we are late! The human had human things to do and we are woefully behind. I, Marv, think you are a gorgeous specimen. So does Kozmo. We have mirror twins here too! Mine says I am a bit of a chunky monkey...Have a marvellously Happy Day!

Maggie, it's called Rubenesque, or well-rounded. We think you're beautiful!

Maggie my dear. You are the image of health and comfort. I stopped talking to my “twin” years ago when she started to argue with me’

Maggie, I am a "big girl" too (this is the Mom talking!!) and if anyone asks if you are pregnant, just whap them!!! There is just more of you and I to love!!

I think I'm too old now to care what anyone says or thinks about my, umm, size. Dad gives it to me all the time, and he and mom laugh and laugh when I trot after a snack they slide on the floor (yeah, I have to work for my treats, damn them!) because my "undercarriage" as dad calls it swings and sways.
