Sunny, Sleepy Saturday

While the Human and I loves us some winter storms, even we have about Had It 

with the endless downpours. This morning I curled up in my purple beddy and 

worshipped the lovely rays.

I rolled the ol' Furrari right out onto the street and, in a flash, collected Sweet Nellie in British Columbia. We stopped by a nice nature reserve where I had some flowers waiting for her:

We lunched on a couple of tiny forest creatures, and then sped off to San Francisco, where we enjoyed a little spray from the Pacific and a slightly cloudy blue sky:

I whisked her home before her Mommy even knew she had run off with me! Though maybe she'll wonder where the flowers came from . . .

N.B.  The Human took this about two weeks ago as I snoozed peaceably in the sun. It really is just me, albeit in some really weird position such that it is almost impossible for me or the Human to figure out what is what. Obviously, there is a central ear, and I believe the tippity top of my tailio is peeking in from the lower left. All the other random furs? Well, your guess is as good as mine, Kitties. And that's the whole troof.

Last night's "light showers" turned into a freezing downpour, but this afternoon has brought at least a modicum of welcome sunlight. It's the cheeriest we've been in weeks and weeks and weeks!

So we took Janet Dake & Ducky up on their offer to knit PussyCatHats in exchange for a donation to Planned Parenthood.

Our hat arrived the other day and we were so pleased we put it on right away. Well, let's be honest here: She put it on. *I* was not a volunteer, and you might just possibly be able to tell I was not an enthusiastic model.

I still look better than the post-flu Human though. And the pre-flu Human too, when you get right down to it.
