Perchance to Dream

And ....through a sleep to say we end
The heartache and the thousand natural shocks
That fur is heir to—’tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished! To sleep.
To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there’s the rub,
For in my nappity-nap what dreams may come
When I have shuffled off the Human's droning voice,
Must give us pause.

Oh, fine. The Human's kids started Hamlet today. We're all in for a treat now, eh?

We are looking forward to some literary conversations then, King Spitty. And just remember that Denmark is not that close to Finland. And it was all about females causing trouble. Poor old Hamlet was in a real mess because of the girls. So, King Spitty, learn well from the bard and don't hide behind any arrases.

aww, you're adorable sleepin' in your pink beddy dreamin' of crowns!

Star says: Spitty, oh Spitty, wherefore art thou? Deny thy human, refuse thy beddy; Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love and I will no longer keep my beanbag.
XOXOXO

"Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown."

Or, uneasy lies the head where a crown is taking up a large portion of the bed.

Ahh... perchance to dream of a time when my ol' peep named me after Hamlet or Gratiano or... or... or anything other than Portia's sidekick. Portia's FEMALE sidekick.

PS. That how you spell Gratiano?

Oh goodness that is so funny. A 'little' Hamlet never hurt anyone. But very little. Hope you survive Spitty. Have a super week end.

BWAA-HA-HAAA we hadz to lafff at Nellie's "Austinism"!

Everyone already took all the clever lines so we'll just say "parting is such sweet sorrow" and slink away (snicker)

“This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any mancat."
parting is but sweet sorrow, My Liege.

Oh! wait! one more:

"there are more fings in Heaven and Earths, Spitio, than are dreamt of in your philosophies..."

"What a piece of work is a cat! how noble in reason! how infinite in faculty! in form and moving how express and admirable! in action how like an angel! in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the world! the paragon of animals! And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust bunnies...?”
