Good Day, Sunshine

The Human went back to work today and I had Teh Sad about it.
No one home to play with me, talk to me, pet me, feed me when I want:
How much would a Nanny cost?

You know you've spent too much time in the Cat Blogosphere when you see this headline:
Obama nom brings new D.C. fight
and you wonder to yourself, "What's Obama been eating that started a brouhaha in Washington?"

  1. Nom nom nom, hehehe. This is a good way of looking at things :)

  2. Hahaha!
It is tough to not have your human at your beck and meow.

You make me smile you know because I had a cat once that looked just like you - the only difference is that my kitty had orange eyes

  3. Those humans going bac to work, sometimes can be a perk.

  4. Ha ha ha ha! Obama nom! I bet ge got a great big old pizza and didn't share!

P.S. I'm sorry you have a sad. You need a little Caroline action!

  5. Lazy journalists! The cat version is better.

The Baby's Mom refers to her baby milk providers as num nums, so nom isn't too far away from THAT!

  6. What's worse, Spitty, is that TW is home all the time and I still have no one to play with me, talk to me, pet me and feed me when I want. Now that's sad.

  7. That was a perfectly sensible headline to us, too!

  10. You have to make up for it with Teh Joy when she comes home and not get stuck in Teh Sulk or Strop. Apparently.
And we are so jealous of the sunshine on your furs - oh how we yearn for the light and sunpuddles.......

  11. Spitty, what you need is a butler. Or a valet.

  14. I laughed so hard at the nom that I snorted... this is your fault! MOL
Poor sweetie left alone! I think you should spend your days over here... I can oo and ah over your shiney furs and Star can snuggle and give you licks. We'll be generous with the treats and as many pets as you want!

Star: I second that idea! Please try not to make mom snort.. it scared me!

  18. Oh SPITTY! No need to be alone. Where's your tunnel? But if I had sunpuddles like yours, I too would be snoozing in them.

Your furs are like satin and clipped velvet. Your beautiful nosey and ears are the velvet and your furs are the satin. XXOO

  25. well, I often see Mr. O sneaking into Ben's Chili Bowl late at night. he asked me to keep that quiet as Michelle finks teh chili is too greasy. so, oops. my bad. guess i should keep my little mouth shut. oh well. You would fink he and Mr. Boehner could just meet there and share a cigarette and compromise over a chili half-smoke, but no. politics is complicated, i guess.
but otherwise - do you REALLY want to pay a nanny so you can ignore her during teh day? wouldn't you rather spend teh money visiting kittehs in your Furrari and showing them a good time? hmmmm? i thought so.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Poor Spitty. Well, you 'll have to enjoy the sun puddles while the Human is gone. When the Human returns, you employ GUILT about the ABANDONMENT!

    ReplyDelete
  27. you are not alone on that "nom". It took me more than a minute to figure out what it actually referred to
