LOL! Students return after Labour Day here, so not till September 7th for elementary and secondary kids. A bit later for university students. We've had a glorious summer, though, even with the humidity. We dread the forthcoming -20C to -30C temps, with windchill, snow and ice.
Life IS much better as a cat, isn't it? We certainly wouldn't want to be human, getting our knickers in a twist about things that can't be controlled, as so many of them do. :-)
You are always a cool cat in any season!
Sun baths are the best! Of course, humans will NEVER understand this.
The sticky kids here in Florida have been in school for two weeks. Usually we get a hurry cane right after they go back!

We're like on Day 48 of 90+ degree weather...we beat a record here in Northern Florida...so we understand 'heat waves'!

yep, we are really tired of the hot weather, but I betcha when it gets cold, we will nothing but complain about the freezing temps. Our bean kids have gone back to school here.

Spitty, Humans have a pretty rotten existance, and YOU are your Human's ONLY bright spot on the world. So it's important that you stay as happy and relaxed as possible.
Mommy wants to add that it will be freezing cold again soon...every Saturday and Sunday. Count on it.

Well, at least we know that School means the little Beins won't be thumpin that big ball hour after hour just outside now... We wont miss that.
We're just happy that it's starting to feel like spring here!
The kids went back to school yesterday here! And we still have at least 2 more months of hot humid weather. Stay cool!
