Okay, Kitties, about six or seven years ago, the Human purchased this delightful water-color print in (wait for it now!) beautiful downtown Capitola (glorious home of Raymond and Busby). It hung placidly on the wall just above her computer desk for as long as I can remember. She likes it because it reminds her of one of her favorite places. I like it because it reminds me of one of my favorite meals.
But then...
...for her birthday in December, a dear friend gave her this delightful picture. She likes this picture because it has such beautiful warm colors and such wonderfully posed kittehs. I like this picture because...well, because what's not to like? The Human is not willing to hang the pictures side-by-side, so I ask you:
Which picture deserves the spot of honor?
Gulls? or Cats?

Tough choice. What if your mom frames them both in the same kind of frame (same colour and thickness of frame and mat, we mean)? Then she could hang them together, or perhaps with additional art work for a collection?
They're both beautiful. Perhaps the photo of lunch, er birds, can go in the kitchen :)
Well. WE would be jealous of any pictures of Cats other than us. The birds win!
We have to vote for the kitty picture, although our Mommy likes them both, but we like OKcats suggestion=the birdies in the kitchen :)...Happy weekend, handsome Spitty...kisses...Calle, Halle, Sukki
I'm the same as the Katnip Lounge'crew, I didn't allow any cats in my territory so the picture of others cat will be allowed hang if mommy let me spray on it, First !!!!
You should do that too, Spitty !

Cats ALWAYS should be in the spot of honor. Gulls should be at cat eye level for best viewing.
OMG you really have to ask??? :)
CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cats, of course!
That picture of the gulls is making our mouths water....
The cats! BUT the birds (lunch..ummmmm) should be in the kitchen. OR the hallway.

You should read what PM Neora WarmLapp said about you and me!!! She's onto us.
My mum likes the birds but I like the cats. So we are no help at all.
I go with the cats of course!!!
Well, we happen to have several (well, at least three) of Karen Nevis' paintings (and photographs) hanging in our house. And since we live in glorious (today gloomy and wet) Capitola, we are partial to the seagulls. And really, the only cat pictures that should grace your walls, Spitty, are pictures of YOU.
Cats come first. Definitely.
The kitty picture is lovely and sweet, but any kitty pictures in the house should be of YOU!
So we vote for the food!
Hard choice, but I'd have to say the kitties win. The warm colors are welcoming and the cats... well, who can say no to cats? :)
It's hard to choose, but I will say photo of meals...uh, birds. Because if your human has photo of cats, it should be photo of you, Spitty!
Both pictures are very nice, but we think your human needs to commission a giant wall size portrait of you to place there instead...a giant Spitty...maybe 8 feet tall by 12 feet wide. Those other pictures are very pretty too, so she could hang them on a different wall.
Cats, dood. ALways cats....
Depends on what the rest of the area looks like (where it will be hung). Which one looks best? I like the gull one for it's smaller size. The cat one is lovely too but could do with a warm toned wood frame. The metal one is off to me given the rich tones of the picture. The gull one would be perfect in that type of frame though. Well, I'm not much help & of course a day or two late; but there ya go!

That Woman
k Spitz; dis what you gotta do. Tellz yer human to go to Michaels; dey have coupons on frames so you gets 'em for less monies. anyway; the gulls will look better in the metal frame; that will really 'pop' their orange beaks (not off; it won't pop dem off so you can'tz eated dem) anyways gets a dark redish wood one for kitties. OR; you could getz a dirty blue old antique lookin ones for both! Then dey couldz be hung together in matching frames. if the blue is not like, navy and not like royal and if it's beated up lookin' ya know? you could help herz wif dat part. it could be a 'community project' ya.. i stink at helping unless it pleases me to do so. anywayz. dat's more than just the .02 That Woman sayz but she ain't on here, I iz; so der ya go. Hers making somefin for the teen to eats. It's not tuna so like I care??
