Lovely Leo

Do you think you could you pet me a little while we chat?
Ah, yes, now this is the life!
So the Human spent the afternoon with Savannah's Peeps, and Savannah (briefly), and Foster Brother Lovely Leo. Leo greeted the Human (top) with a rather serious gaze, which soon melted into lovey eyes and squirmy petting time. Then he curled right up with his Foster Mom. The Human says you could hear his rumbly purrs at 100 yards.

It's hard to believe that mere weeks ago poor Leo was not just at death's door but actually had one paw on the doorknob. (Which, by the way, he knows how to use. He is a clever escape artist!) Savannah's pawrents are the true heroes of this tale (tail) as they pulled him whisker-by-whisker back to shimmering good health! His fur is soft and shiny, his appetite is excellent, his eyes are clear and bright, and he is the picture of happy well-being.

So Leo may be in the market for a purrfect home one of these days soon. Make sure you visit Savannah to keep up with all things Leo.

And we can't forget the Main Attraction:
Oh yes, Sweet Savannah was there too. On her bed. Under her blanket fort. Less than thrilled to meet the Human: "Yeah, yeah, I see you, Lady. Yes, you may pet me--carefully and briefly now!--and then please close the fort door when you leave. Thanks for coming and all."

Aw, your human got to cuddle that orange fuzzy buddy! Lucky her! I hope he gets a home soon! Or that Savvy decides he's a good guy and he can stay.. ;)

Star says: Good Cod! Nearly gave me heart palpitations reading the title of your post! I thought you went over to the dark side! After all, the other day you called the barbarian 'bud' which I wasn't too worried about until I saw the words "Lovely Leo" Holy Carp!
Ok, I think I'm calming down now.. that Leo is half way across the country.. he's not invading my house.. *pant pant* Spitty, my knees are still a little wobbly, if you have time in your busy royal schedule, could you stop by and comfort me?

How cool that your human got to meet Savvy and Leo's humans! We met their female human at BlogPaws, and we think she is great.

Leo is looking wonderful, and we sure hope he gets a forever home of his very own soon. Your human is SO lucky, getting to pet him AND Savannah.

That's what forts are for..to not be disturbed while conducting business of counting threads in the sheets, right? xxooxx

Such good news about Leo doing well.

Savannah and you seem to have some things in common. Maybe if Leo were to become your brother, Spitty, some of that sweetness would rub off on you? We bet there is room in your home and your human's heart for having him as well as you.
