I am blissfully relaxed in front of what, in a more perfect world,
would be a crackling fireplace in a much cleaner apartment,*
but, frankly, beggars can't be choosers and the radiator puts out awesome heat.
* Not to mention the bad picture quality: Strike One, Strike Two.

Honestly Spitty, the radiator is much safer a heat source than a fireplace is! Can't help you with the cleanliness, though.
We love our heaty spots too.

I hear-tell from reading the diaaries of the cats that came before that radiators are pawsome inventions. We have vents in the walls that emit dusty smelling heat. I don’t like them one bit.
Black furs seem to suck up the heat more too, Spitty.

Won't a fireplace increase the risk of "running like your tail's on fire"? Or "pants on fire" for your Human? I think a radiator is a much safer bet, Spitty. :)

I would like the radiator more than a fireplace. It's a lot of mess every morning and sometimes the fire-devil in the flames spits sparks in my direction.

Ahhh yes....praying at the altar of heat - that's precisely the spot I'd choose if I were you. Now all you need to do is drag that pink beddy of yours over there and you're all set (well, maybe a snack bowl would be nice).

You absolutely could not look more comfy and content, Spitty. We too worship the radiators, but we do it atop them, especially the one in the upstairs bath which has a granite slab on the top and gets nice and toasty. Stay warm. Enjoy your cozy spot Spitty! We has no radiator or a fireplace, just forced air. Not cozy at all but it keeps our home warm.
