So, here at the Castle, we continue to wage low-level guerrilla warfare against those insidious little freaks of nature.
The Human vacuums several times a week, and I am brushed and combed within an inch of my life. On her last flea-combing session, she found no fleeze on me, but they do like to hang out in the dark and damp and difficult-to-reach (aka impossible) tender areas. No metal teefs are going to scrape me *there*, no sirree.
I had an Advantage dose yesterday, so we will see how things go. The Human has covered most of my best sleeping places with white dishtowels, the better to easily find the corpses. She also employs a lint roller--no, not on *me*, Sillies, on the surfaces I arise from.
What's next, I ask you: Hazmat suits?

They are indeed tough fleezies. Nasty critters. We hope this last dose is the true killer.
Mousie had the big fleazy in 2015. It was horrendous. Her owner fumigated the whole house. I personally reckon it was the damn dogs who brought them in in the first place!

Oh Spitty. This is a dire situation. Clearly, it was your Human who brought the fleas in to the house in the first place, so why can't she go and live somewhere else until she's completely flea-free?

Sorry about the ongoing flea fight, Spitty. Did you happen to send us your ants, though? Mom found them busy in our foyer yesterday. We don't like them.
Ah, the white towels.... yep, we get that treatment from time-to-time, too. Keep pushing back against those steel teefs, especially THERE!

Which makes us wonder.. Do the fleas have tiny little hazmat suits and that's why they stick around?

Dang those fleeze, Spitty! We hope that Advantage puts an end to those ickies!
The last few years the fleas have been harder to kill. The build up an immunity to products that have worked for years. Advantage being one of them. Does your vet have any advice? It seems like the pill or chewable flea meds work the best but you need your vet to write a prescription. Good luck!
And keep us posted as to what works. We have them also. Any ideas out there - to the other kitties and doggies?
