I have been reaping the benefits of a Human that is now only semi-employed. This seems to mean that she goes in when she wants, stays for 2-4 hours, and departs without so much as a by-your-leave.
If she coulda had this gig all along, she might not be retiring.
I let her go to the movies today. I'm reasonable.

Ooh I say, two tone floof, I like it! That was so kind. Mrs H says the longer your human stays in the saddle the better they'll be at being provider.... do humans have horses these days? or was it bicycles she meant? Either way I think you need to keep them on their toes and demand extra services too. Movies and then shopping for treats!

That wasn't just 'reasonable' of you Spitty - it was downright indulgent. I do hope you checked that she was suitably grateful and reminded her that such outings are a privilege to be earned, not an entitlement just because she's retired.

Yeah, we do have to let our mum's out for a breather now and then. Moovies, garden stuff, library etc. Then they are happy to come home to us.
