The Human got BooBoo as a wee kitten in the middle of her junior year of college. One night, when she was about 9 months old, BooBoo leapt from a third story window into the backyard of their flat and disappeared for two or three days. She returned very self-satisfied, and also knocked up; a couple of months later she had two kittens (thankfully, only two). She was a good little mother before getting spayed the minute those kittens were weaned.
The Human and her many roommates enjoyed the little family, but eventually found good homes for the kittens. Life went happily on for about four months, until the landlord of one adopter found out about the illicit kitten, and she was returned. Let's just say, it was not the happiest of family reunions. Sweet little Angela was delighted to see her mommy, but the same could not be said of mommy.
For the next 16 years, the two moved everywhere the Human went in those post-college years, but they were never exactly the best of friends. Well, Angela tried, but BooBoo was not having any of it.
At 16, sweet Angela crossed the Bridge. The Human was sad, but BooBoo could not believe her good fortune. The last 2-1/2 years of her life were the happiest. She sat on the Human's lap and purred and purred, played like a kitten, and enjoyed her golden years immensely. She was a Good Girl, but in many ways, she makes me look positively sweet-tempered and angelic, MOL. I look forward to meeting her one day in the Great Land Beyond.

This is such a special look back at Boo Boo and Angela, Spitty. Thank you for sharing!
Wow! We know some human bein parents are not thrilled when the kid suddenly shows up at the front door, but we feel bad fer both.
Ah, hmmm - it seems to me that your Human is attracted to a certain kind of pusscat personality. Do you agree? I wonder what that says about her?

Boo Boo reminds my human a bit of her cat Harlot. She had two cats (not related) in the 1980s who disliked each other, Harlot was one of them, and an older half-Siamese black cat the other. They just barely coexisted, and when the black cat eventually died, my human swears that Harlot would have danced on his grave if she could have! She was thrilled he was gone and she had my human all to herself... until Binga came along. But that's another story.
Huh... if she makes YOU look so docile, she must have been major kinda cat.
That was a very sweet throw back story.

Awwww, thank you for sharing the story about BooBoo. Funny, your Mom had BooBoo and my Mom had Bobo :) Love, Cody
A wonderful story and so familiar to all of us who love felines and hold them dear no matter what.
Thank you for sharing this story. Our mom is always thankful to hear about other kitties that were before us.

It was nice to hear about Boo Boo. She was a pretty girl.
Boo Boo was a beautiful kitty. How blessed your human was to have had them for so long. XO
Boo Boo had the biggest eyes!
Angel Boo Boo was very cute, Spitty. I'm betting that her spirit comes around to visit your human from time to time, while you sleep in your purple beddy.
Awww...
Whoa! She sure sowed those wild oats. Gramma adopted one of Syssi's kittens. Several years later TW brought Syssi up to see Chizzy expecting a joyful reunion. HAH! Chizzy recognized mom but Syssi hissed and hissed at Chizy.
