But the Human just can't stop being an English teacher even though she retired almost a year ago, and she thought Father of Fleas was nice and alliterative.
I say, why couldn't it have been Father of Frogs, or Ferrets, or Foxes. Father of Falcons has a nice ring to it.
But no. Fleas came to mind and she was (surprise!) too lazy to think of something more refined and regal.
Honestly. What I have to put up with.

We are most relieved by the flea-free status as they can be rather irritating. The human need for alliteration is most annoying, but I suppose that we have to allow our scribes some freedomin return for use of their thumbs.

Da humans, there's no helping them sometimes.
That your Human couldn't reach for a dictionary to find something that started with 'f' and worked better than 'fleas' is a(nother) grave disappointment Spitty. I don't know how you cope, really I don't.

Also glad for the flea-free state, Spitty! Falcons are kind of close to dragons, right?
Spitty, why can't she simply type, "Spitty owns all of this!"?
Emmy says she would have still loved you if you had fleas. XO
Such a sad state of affairs Spitty we really don't know how you cope. Maybe it is that nap
Flea free is fine!

We would suggest Father of Figs. That way you could not give a fig whenever it struck you.
Thank Cod, Spitty. It just would not do to have you be the Father of fleas!
Hey, as long as there aren't any fleas, we're good. Father of Feather Toys? Father for all Feathery Things? Father for Fabulous Floof? Naw, we think your mom got it right the first time.
She retired her brains too I suppose. It's on you now to keep her going day after day.

As your Mom is an English teacher, we wondered if "Father Of Fleas" was like "Lord Of The Flies?
TBT has been combing us for years and never found a single flea. Apparently, they dont like our yard. But sometimes he finds one of those little deer ticks (he gets them too). He says there are 2 options. Pretty much make our yard sterile, or put up with a few ticks and find them every day. We and he voted for the semi-wild back yard...
It encourages him to work his magic fingers through our furs every day. Cant beat THAT!
