Soon . . .
. . . but not today!
My lovely girl was unimpressed with the idea of getting into a carrier today (Monday, May 10), but she will be arriving this week! I think she is channeling Spitty, who had a firm policy of non-cooperation.
Soon is good. I can barely even imagine a day without a cat never mind at least a couple. We await introduction to the new one.
Marley is not Skeeter, Ayla is not LC. Laz is not Iza. But they aren't supposed to be. Each is unique and bring new experiences and new surprise and eventually beloved habits to our lives.
My thought has always been that, when one door closes, another opens. Yeah trite, but I mean it. We love our kitties, they are special to us all their lives. We miss them so much when they pass out of our lives. I still have dreams of Skeeter and it has been 13 years. And of course I don't forget LC and Iza either.
But when there is room for another, it is a wonderful new experience in both their and our lives...
I'm looking forward to providing the newcomer with the same quality of support and tips that I gave Spitty and helping them train train train that Human to provide top quality care.
Soon cannot come soon enough, and we bet this young lady feels exactly the same. Looks as if Sir Spitty has selected a cutie pie to be your new, loving companion. Waiting excitedly for the official introduction. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
If you decide to come and see me when you get home with your Mom, sweet girl, I still have King Spitty looking regal in my side bar...bringing soft dear thoughts of you to both me and mom. And I know you have my sisfur that I never met yet here with you. XXXOOO
Spitty, I am so glad your mamma has your perfect picture in the header still. You look sublime. I miss you a million percent. I always will. And Admiral was so happy to see you.
"Thank heaven, for little girls!" It's a delight to see you, Gigi...welcome to the blogging world! My oh my, you must have some Siamese blood in you; look at that head. We can guarantee that the service will be outstanding at your new abode, and you'll have everything that you need. As for the grabby hands...well, into every day, a little rain must fall.
