Me Time

Well, the Human calculates she is about 4% better so she went into work for a (very) few hours today. She did not do well, and it scared her a little that her students were so well-behaved (does she look that bad? ::shhhhhhh:: but yes, she does).

At least I had a little private time to gaze soulfully out the windows at the neighbors going about the quotidian tasks of laundry-doing, and dog-walking, and shopping. Quite refreshing to be on my own, however briefly.

  5. I'm just so relieved that *you* can't catch anything from her, Spitty. And I hope that while she was out scaring kids for those few hours that she thought to get you treats and whatnot on the way home. I'm sure you're out at this point.

  6. Spitty - There is such a fine line between getting sufficient "Me Time" and claims of being "ignored & abandoned" by your Human while she battled the plaque. Hope both your lives begin to moderate this week.

  10. Spitty, tuck your human into bed and tell her to stay there until she feels at least 60% better! Sit on her if you have to!
Glad you got some time to be yourself though, hope you didn't get into any trouble!

Star says: You know we're all here for you, Spitty dear, while your human is sick. Heck, if you need some alone time, pop on over and I'll show you some great hiding spots where no one will see you for hours! Except maybe me? Purrrr?

  11. Spitty, I think I would go nuts if I was stuck with a sick human for as long as you have been! Are you trying out for sainthood?

  12. Wow. It's been very long for your Human to be sick. Poor Human. Maybe Boomie and I should teleport over. Boomie can keep her company while you and I play!

  23. Sorry that your human is not feeling well. We haven't been keeping up with our blog friends, so we didn't know.

I like how you can peek through the curtains and then you can retreat quickly if necessary. Nice.
