At least I had a little private time to gaze soulfully out the windows at the neighbors going about the quotidian tasks of laundry-doing, and dog-walking, and shopping. Quite refreshing to be on my own, however briefly.

Oh dear, the human is a teacher and is ill and went to work. I feel her pain. I did that too. I teach 4th grade and it ain't pretty. However, at least you, the one who matters, had some pleasant time!

I'm just so relieved that *you* can't catch anything from her, Spitty. And I hope that while she was out scaring kids for those few hours that she thought to get you treats and whatnot on the way home. I'm sure you're out at this point.
Spitty - There is such a fine line between getting sufficient "Me Time" and claims of being "ignored & abandoned" by your Human while she battled the plaque. Hope both your lives begin to moderate this week.

Spitty, tuck your human into bed and tell her to stay there until she feels at least 60% better! Sit on her if you have to!

well I, for one, am just shocked that this is how she re-pays you for nursing her back to 4% health. Now she's just going to undo all the work you did! You will have to sit on her now. Be firm. She needs to stay home.
