I still miss my mom, after 9 months - she's still around, but I haven't seen her for that long! This is a bittersweet day for people like your human, whose mothers are gone, and rather a bitter day for people like my human, who did not have a good relationship with her mother, and does not miss her one bit.
Yes indeed. It's not mother's day in Britain but seems to be everywhere else in the world. Äiti misses her mother too.

OH she IS truly beautiful. Truly. Mine has been gone about the same length of time. But Katie has HER Mommy back right now this afternoon. So she is grateful and sends loves to you and Spitty too.

Happy Mother's Day Mary. What a great photo. Your mom Ginny looks a lot like my mom, Bette, did in 1956. Who knows, they might even have been on the beach in Santa Cruz at the same time. I was thinking yesterday about how my husband and I have no one left with whom to celebrate Mother's Day. My Mom has been dead for 50 years now. Hope your Mother's Day was filled with love.
