                              Until We Meet Again

Five years ago, a (dare we say testy?) Finnish King admonished me for my paw placement on World Domination Day; apparently, I had trodden a wee bit close to his borders. Mirsku Missiles were readied, so I thought it best to withdraw my toes from Punapippuri's fine realm in Finland(N).

From that unpromising start, a great and lasting friendship grew through near-daily Royal Missives and immense affection and respect. King P was my very bestest friend in all the world.

I was a lucky ManCat to have known and loved him, but I miss him. I think I will always miss him. He was a once-in-a-kitty-lifetime friend, and I hope one fine day we'll meet up again among the stars.

Oh Spitty. We are so sorry for your loss. We also lost a friend here, but the relationship between you and King P. was truly unique. And very entertaining, if we may add. We had some great laughs about you two foolish jolly boys, getting every now and then in trouble with each other. ;)

We loved King P too. We miss all our friends who go over the Bridge, but Some cats are just unique. We have lost too many friends lately...

I didn't really know King P as I wasn't a visitor to his blog, but I was aware that he was a regular visitor here and his comments were always witty. He seemed to be truly a one-of-a-kind kind of chap. I was very saddened to learn that he had gone and that you have lost a true friend.

I thank you for this moving tribute to my little mancat. He was indeed testy, and tested my patience often but that does not mean he was loved any less. He has left us far too soon, and I know life is never fair, but this does suck. I thank you for your friendship and hope it can continue as the others of perheemme attempt to fill his pawprints.

We know you will meet again, Spitty. Friendships like that last well beyond our time on earth. It was so sad to lose such a special kitty at a young age. We know he's watching you to make certain you don't do anything of which he wouldn't approve. Sending love and condolences to you. Misty May sends some kisses. Spitty we did not know him but he certainly had a ton of fans and friends and we wish we'd had a chance to know him......of course you will meet up with him one day in the far off future - there are a LOT of cat buddies you will see again one day but don't be in a big hurry for that day because Angels visit all the time. You will see King P in your dreams..............

Love, Teddy (and Angel Sammy who has stopped by your house a few times too!!!!)
