Oh, hello. Yes, there was a 75.5% eclipse today, even
here in Foggy Bottom. The Human had quite a festive time of it at school,
cavorting about with hundreds of 16-year-olds and swapping eclipse glasses and
pinhole cameras around like so many lip glosses and mascara tubes. Surely
I need not tell you how very excited I was.

No need at all Spitty - the picture is worth a thousand words. Very very very very excited is my interpretation.

MOL! Humans do get excited over strange things! It's not like there was free KFC going around or anything.
Our human says she saw a total eclipse about 15 years ago in Germany - we don't really understand the fuzz either - we actually experience total eclipse every day when our food is not the one we wanted.
Spitty Darling, you're the only black out I need to see today! Smooches!
Well, we have a 3 month eclipse every year. It's called the Finnish winter.
Spitty, I did the exact same thing with my co-workers; trading glasses, looking through boxes, and watched live feeds on phones. It was awesome! Since cats come from outer space, we know that solar eclipses aren't any big deal to you, but since humans have thumbs to open cat food cans, you'll just have to accept us the way we are!
dood....frank lee.. me N cuzin daiz did de eggz act same thing while de food serviss gurl watched de NASA site all day...ON WERK TIME ~~~~~~~~~~~~ yea...

You look about as excited as I was :)
We were about excited as you were, Spitty.
Yep - you and I celebrated that eclipse thing in the exact same way......snorefesting!
Hugs, Teddy
Looks like you were every bit as excited as we were here, with our total eclipse of our lids.
Yep, you look very excited, Spitty! We had a 71% eclipse here, and our male human says it was pretty cool to watch it with so many other people in NYC.
We were lucky we had a total eclipse in SC. Mom Paula said it was amazing!
Technically, it was an 85% eclipse here, but it didnt matter. It was cloudy, as TBT predicted weeks ago... We couldnt even tell it was happening.
PEE ESS: We hope yer fleas are dying like flies, MOL!
