The musings of Spitty the Kitty
Yeah, mum knows about funeral foods. Stuff the ladies serve at the lunch after the funeral. Hopefully they won't kill you!
But with the two-day shipping, you'd get them just in time. So there's that.(We had to use the Google to learn about this, since we had no idea either. But Mom got a huge chuckle. And as for the litter, maybe it's funeral litter.)
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this!!
Now that is a new one on us too. *shiver*
It's certainly an odd pairing of groceries, Spitty - but, as an advertisement, it worked because it caught your eye! I've googled to find out how come this dish is called funeral potatoes as I'd never heard of it before. Sounds yummy but fattening. Note too that the advert isn't for kitty litter, but for a litter tray "with shield and scoop"! It sounds as though it's preparing for warfare. Most of us would equip ourselves with shield and gun, or, for the traditionalists, shield and sword, but you kitties are going into battle with shield and scoop apparently.Did this advert come up while you were surfing the internet? Since these adverts are tailored to each computer user, it would seem to suggest that your Human has been sneaking some funeral potatoes into her grocery trolley from time to time and not bothered to share 'em with you!MeganSydney, Australia
WHAT????? How in the WORLD could they name something THAT!
you should send that to Jimmy Fallon's screen shot thing, he shows the best ones on TV catchatwithcarenandcody
Someone's advert algorithm is screwed up, Spitty!
I have no idea, Spitty - but if you find out please let us know ~
The Woman says she learned about funeral potatoes from the Mormons, and they're delicious. The potatoes, not the Mormons. Maybe the Mormons. I asked her if she'd ever eaten one and she was all, "that's kinda personal" so we'll never know...
Okay...that is a very disconcerting name for those potatoes. The only thing worse could be if they called them Corpse Potatoes. We think maybe the only thing they are good for is a cat peeing on them. Thanks for giving us a good chuckle today. Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
