Sunday Selfie: Treats Are Awesome

I am a, shall we say mature, ManCat. And honestly, I thought last January 15 was probably going to be my final breakthrough, but apparently there are still barriers for this hardened former feral to conquer.

A couple of days ago, the Human was putting a bag of Temptations in her schoolbag to take to other Humans with treat-loving kitties at her work. Then she decided that she would give me one last try (after like 13.75 years of trying). She put a couple down on the floor and voila! They were enthusiastically consumed.

Finally, I understand what all you other kitties have been praising all these years! Treats are mouth-watering!

Spitty, it was exactly the same with my kitties. After years of turning treats down, now they can't get enough. It must take a mature palate for some kitties to enjoy them.

Sorry, Temptations make me sick.

Well - this is a surprise, Spitty. It's certain to keep your Human on her toes! Not quite the internet-breaker that January 15 was, but still a significant milestone.

Most of us love those, but Äiti doesn't give them often as they made Punapippuri sick because of his poorly tummy. He never ate them after one big incident. However they do appear to contain some, erm, incentive for us to dash from the furthest parts of the Castle when we hear the magic bag. Has the Human discovered those with extra catnip inside....? Just a suggestion.

My human won't let us eat these because they aren't "healthy!" Meanwhile, she needs to have a supply of cookies in her cupboard. Go figure.

They say taste and taste buds take time to develop. At risk of stating the obvious, you, clearly, have taste. Yums!

Wow, Spitty, looks like you now have something new to enjoy. Calista Jo does not like treats either. We hope she doesn't change her mind in the future. Less for us. Thanks for coming on the hop with us. Misty May sends kisses 💋 XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

Spitty, I am glad you finally discovered the Joys Of Treats. I nearly LIVE for those things (even though OUR treats are usually just regular kibbles). Pee Ess: I left you a message on our blog. ~ MARLEY

Oh Mr Spitty! Those were Queen Penelope's favorites (next to freeze dried Salmon). I, on the other hand, am a lover of Party Mix. Kozmo will eat any of them!

Those three are all goodies - Sammy was a big fan.....I have recently been introduced to "mix-ups" by Temptations....a veritable VARIETY of taste sensations. Cats and treats are a most satisfactory combination I must say! ENJOY!
