I Didn't Mean To

We were just playing a nice game of     Whappy  Paws, and I was getting kind of   excited, and I really wanted to win, and . . . well . . . I'm sorry, Human.

That was a paw whap and not a bitey ? So there's less chance she'll get an infection in her can opening hand ? Whew !

Awww Spitty. We think you really feel sorry for hurting your moms thumb. It was just a happy play fight but looks like you won. Hope mom is going to be ok. Thanks for the share. Have a great rest of your week.

Spitty - I don't think there's any need for an apology, although it's very generous of you to offer one. If the Human was trying to make it up to you for long periods of neglect in recent days by agreeing to a no-holds-barred bout of Whappy Paws, then it would have been patronising of you to have played with anything less than your best effort. That she isn't an especially skilled player and that she doesn't have needle-sharp razor blades on the end of her fingers (like some players) are not things for which you are responsible. Ergo, no apology is called for.

And, by the way ... well played that man!

TBT has been known to wear leather gloves to play whappy paws with us, which was fun. When he held some steak knives, though, we decided to bat some toys instead...
