Expanding My Horizons?
So earlier, the Human left the front door open and invited me into the hallway of our building. With great caution, I approached the open door and sniffed and sniffed and sniffed some more. Then I put one paw delicately onto the carpeting out there, but "Oh no!" the floor was lava and I dashed away. Then a few minutes later I poked my head out again and this time I briefly got all four paws onto the lava. Now I am in my favorite purple beddy thinking over this intriguing but frightening turn of events.

You are so brave that you were able to get all four paws onto the lava. We hope you are able to stay out there longer next time and to start enjoying the new smells. That photo says it all. You had a rough day today. Thanks for the share. Enjoy your nap.

Wow, Spitty! You are super brave! I remember the lava in the floor of the hallway of your building, and it would take the courage of a KING to step onto it. Huzzah!
Oh Spittikins! Hallway Lava? That must have been a terrible affront to your pawsies! "Outside" is hard to get used to sometimes. We re used to it, but it takes time. When we first experienced "outside", TBT carried us around so we could sniff and smell and look and hear while we above the unaccustomed surfaces. We did step gently after a while and got used to it.
But Spitty-My-Love, my hearts weeps for you experiencing that all-of-a-sudden and all-at-once with pain. Please come over over and I will lick yer poor pawsies until they are soothed by my healing cat-spit!

About our Almost Werdless Wensday pictures... YOU NAILED IT!
We were all up on the deck and an Introoder came across our yard. Ayla stared ears forward. Marley watched carefully. But *I* went right down the stairs after it and chased it away.
The Marley picture was of him watching me return to the deck. The last picture was all of us gathered together discussing the event (and concatulating me of course). You noticed Ayla's tail all floofed too, we bet.
