Monday, Monday, Can't Trust That Day

Today, the Human's obsessively watching the air quality report bounce around with each passing hour, mostly ricocheting in all the wrong directions.

Me, I am meditating on the rather peculiar nature of the sunlight and the firmly closed windows.

What I would really like to be doing is poking my snout out there to sample all the enticing smells of the neighborhood. It's an outrage that she has forbidden it.

It's awful, all the fallout from the tragic fires in your area. I can't believe it is taking so long for your air quality to improve.

Living in the countryside where our air is fresh and clean, I can't begin to imagine how terrible it must be to live with such terrible air quality.
Oh, and thanks for the earworm!

Patience my friend......the rains cometh out your way and that should clear the air somewhat allowing that snout the freedom for sniffing that it has so long been denied!

We hope the air quality returns to normal soon. We feel horrible for everyone affected by this fire. Glad you are able to enjoy some sunshine. Thanks for the share. Have a great rest of your week.

Trust her, it is for your own good.

It seems to me, Spitty, as though this might be a time when you need to be patient and supportive of the Human. She's dealing with some horrible stuff and isn't quite her usual self. I imagine that keeping the windows closed is a wise decision on her part - but even if it isn't, I vote for indulging her and being kind to her this week. (Normal programming to recommence next week, okay?)

Spitty, we think you’re better off keeping your nose inside. :)

The air out there is not good for you Spitty. Go have your mom rake some forest floors.

it's for the best oh High Exhaulted One. you certainly dont want to pollute your Holiness with that acrid air. Your pure White whiskey buds might well turn *gasp* ORNJ!

Believe it or not, Spitty, the haze from the fires has reached the east coast. We don't have the smell but we have the haze.

Darling, it had to be then, until the rains came. She couldn't take a chance on your delicate system being assaulted by that smoke.
